DO NOT HIRE MATT KREY.
We recently hired Matt to complete a project for us our basement. We advertised for the project on FB and KIJIJI and he messaged me indicating he could complete the job. He showed me photographs of jobs he had completed and gave references. References check out, he gave us a written contract.
The job was supposed to take 1-2 weeks and ended up taking 10 weeks because he would come and go when he pleased and make all kinds of excuses. He hung the drywall incorrectly, very poorly finished it, and improperly installed 3 doors. He continued to request more and more money for materials. The total project cost was quoted at 2400$ and we ended up paying him approx 3500$.
Cant even describe how important it is to AVOID this guy at all costs. Several stories have surfaced about him ripping people in the Windsor area off. He is a great talker, claims to be a christian. Please DO NOT HIRE.

I wouldn’t recommend this contractor for several reasons. They are not experienced and bite more than they can chew. There are hidden costs and the contractor has poor time management. Also, inflexible and somewhat prejudice. They ghosted us and left everything incomplete and took off with money that didn’t reflect the work. Also they claim to shop for things and ask for reimbursements, but refuse to give you the receipts (probably tax evasion). Honestly, I would recommend paying a bit more cause you will end up paying more to repair the poor quality work. I had several expert opinions and they were shook by the work and work ethic of Kray Contracting. Avoid at all costs.
