Kris from live free contracting left site with much incomplete work and general poor workmanship, Kris also hired various sub contractors to carry out work for him, however since there completion of works Kris has not payed them and they are now coming to us for payment. Avoid this company like the plague. He is untrustworthy and dishonest!

On November 29, 2017 I hired Kristopher Mirchandani and Live Free to replace 128 sq. ft. of laminate flooring. Kris and Live Free were fired on January 5, 2018 as the job was not completed by the mutually agreed upon completion date, December 15, 2017. The incomplete job included improperly measured cuts and the laminate installation starting in the middle of the floor, not the width of a plank plus 1/4 inch away from a wall. The laminate now has many instances of puckering. As a result of these and other issues, I paid Kris a deposit but not the full contract amount. From my experience, Live Free is not a reliable, professional and knowledgeable company.

I liked and appreciated the professionalism that was provided in both the work and conversations while Kristopher Mirchandani (Kris) was working. Kris was courtesy and respectful.

Kris was punctual and attended my home when he said he would. Kris stayed within the time frames he suggested that would be required to get the work done; this allowed me to schedule other things and complete other tasks.

Kris was patient with the animals and grandchildren who I felt were underfoot however he did not complain.

When Kris had completed the task at hand; he tidied up and did not leave any work materials in the home. Kris gave suggestions as to what would be beneficial to cleaning up the drywall dust from the work that was needed.

Kris was patient when I was asking him about other work I wanted to do; he was open and honest about suggestions and the approximate cost to the work I wanted done. Kris was open when telling me something would not work in my favor and would cost too much.

I would hire Kris and his company to do other renovations and work around my house and / or yard.

Kris and his main worker Matt did did some excellent in-home renovation work for us this summer. By 'Excellent' I mean: they work hard and steady; they kept us informed all along about the progress of the work; Kris always let us know if they were going to be a bit late -- otherwise they were always on time; they have fun together while they are working and seem to truly enjoy talking about and figuring out the best and right way to do the job; they totally respect how renovations are disruptive to the homeowner and at the end of each day during the job they always put things back together as normally as possible; they also tidy and clean up quite well at the end of the day.

Kris and his crew did a fine job of repairing our retaining wall and relaying the patio stones, including levelling the area our hot tub sits on. My wife and I were very happy with the work done and how quickly Kris and crew got the job done. They were very courteous to deal with and ensured the job was completed to our satisfaction.

They accepted the job at the last minute. They completed the take-out window earlier than the due date.the job was also completed under budget. It was my first time usuing live free contracting and it will not be my last

I can strongly recommend Live Free Contracting Ltd. for their polite response over the phone, timely appointment, willingness to do a job no other window cleaners or painters in town would and for their effort to start up their own business at a very fair price. Their attention to detail in cleaning three house hold items that required disassembling were reassembled without complaint or difficulty. The people in this company try to solve how to tackle projects other more experienced companies wouldn't. Their helpful attitude overrides the money driven competition. They are personable all the while respecting client confidentiality. Excellent service overall!
