Lone-Wolf Contracting are reliable, accurate and fast workers willing to tackle virtually any job. I will certainly hire them again and recommend others consider them for any sort of work required such as painting or dry walling.
Thank you for your kind words, Nancy. I know that getting a home ready for sale can be a stressful process. I am glad we were able to make is just a bit less stressful for you! I am certainly looking forward to being of service again!!
Brett
Brett went out of his way and worked well beyond normal hours to help me complete a patio, yard ground cover, deck power washing, as well as, fix problem areas in my yard that were not even on my list ... all in a timely manner! He and his team were open to my ideas and helped me bring them into existence without attempting to persuade me to a simpler plan when things were workable. Brett was always upbeat and not at all intimidated, as other companies have been, by the obvious physically-taxing project ahead of them (had to bring all materials (including 4.5 yards of gravel!) and tools, etc. through my home, down from the deck and into yard to even begin working). He was thoughtful in his suggestions/advice and kept expenses realistic for me.
Brett and his team delivers the WOW factor! Wonderfully Outstanding Work.
Thank you Brett. I am looking forward to your help in conquering more projects soon!
Thanks for your kind words. A company is only as good as the team and I am fortunate to have a good team. Nothing wrong with a few days of honest hard work! We are looking forward to future opportunities to be of service. As I have noted: no project too big or too small!
Brett
I found Brett at Lone-Wolf Contracting to be reliable and hard working. He is also personable and honest.
The quotation which he provided was accurate and his time estimates to complete the job were reasonable and adhered to.
I would recommend him as the finished product was excellent.
Thanks Nora. I appreciate the vote of confidence! I hope your house sells quickly and that you folks enjoy moving out west!
Brett is a pleasure to deal with. He is friendly and willing to talk about the project and make suggestions that he feels will make the job turn out better.
Thanks for your review Michelle. I hope this helps with the sale of your house!
We hired Brett to move our children's playset from the old house to our new house. It is a very large set. Despite some setback caused by the bad weather, Brett's work was very professional, neat and demonstrated great care. We're very happy with Brett's service and will call him again for other handy works around the property.
The most appreciated reviews are those that came unsolicited! Thank you Mary. I look forward to building the privacy screening we talked about as well as bidding on the fencing for you and your neighbors. Also, keep in mind our Customer Appreciation Program: when we get a job based on your referral, you get $50!
Brett and his team did an outstanding job installing a wooden fence for us. They were very courteous, clean and efficient. Brett's communication style is also VERY customer oriented, and it was an enjoyable experience.
The pleasure was certainly mine, Bernard. You and Elaine are great customers and I am looking forward to the next project coming up later in the summer! Hopefully, the ants won't get into the pizza again! Be well.
Also, don't forget about my Customer Appreciation Program: if you make a referral to Lone Wolf Contracting and I am successful in securing the project, I will give you $50 as a small token of my appreciation!
I had contracted once before and was satisfied with a shingle repair that I needed as a result of damage by raccoons. this work was proper so I contracted for the bigger job that required replacement of a frame for the double doors to the back patio. we agreed on a price and on the completion of the first day the lone wolf contractor stated he needed the 1200 up front to pay his subcontractor. I paid this and renogotiated a price of 2000 dollars. the job was more involved than he first thought. He communicated well and was persuasive that that would complete the job. the job was left incomplete. the aluminum trim around the door was not replaced leaving the house not waterproofed or insulate at this point. he indicated he was ordering some piece of trim that separates the two doors. I bought the same piece long before at Home Depot. He must have been stalling. at this point I had paid almost double the amount estimated. by keeping me waiting and on the hook the bill could be inflated more it seemed. I asked him not to return to my house . He does not not have the skill for bigger jobs like this. He is good for minor repairs. I think he went in over his head. to complete the repair at my house only needs the aluminum cut and bent around the frame just as it originally was. I was very drained dealing with a project that should not have cost that much . I did not know if he would return as it kept dragging on. I'm very unhappy with the work and would not give a good reference to Lone Wolf contracting
I became involved with Rob in June through August 2012, so I am somewhat confused why he is commenting after all of this time. While the shingle repair went well as he indicated, when he asked me to look into reframing the double door, I agreed but was very clear that until the door, trim, etc. is removed, one cannot possibly know what is behind, under and above the framing. He agreed to proceed with the understanding that depending on what was discovered, the overall price may change.
When we opened up the area, we discovered that there was no header above the door (resulting in a sagging roof) as well as much rotted wood that needed to be replaced. Simply put, whoever did the original job did not correctly support/frame/install the door or the aluminum resulting in a lot of damage within the enclosed area. I took many pictures and sent them to Rob to explain what the issues were and what needed to be done to properly correct the defects. Rob lives in B. C. so timely communicating was a challenge at times.
With respect to us not completing the job, I strongly disagree with Rob's assertion that we "left" the aluminum work incomplete. In fact, when I told him the price to replace the aluminum (the original aluminum was totally incorrect which was one of the reasons why water was able to enter the door/wall cavity and cause the damage) Rob stated that he did not want to have the aluminum installed, even though I explained the risks of not doing so. As noted, Rob lives in B. C. and to my knowledge has not visited the house in Ontario to see the extent of what was needed to complete the job. It was not as simple as a bend here and there and all is well. I sent pictures to explain how involved it would be (I have not done this level of aluminum work so offered to facilitate an expert to complete this task properly).
In summary, I am saddened that Rob was dissatisfied with the service provided. His assertion that we got in over our heads and that we are only good for small repairs is contradicted by the very positive experience as noted by other reviewers.
I was very pleased with the work Brett completed on my front door. He communicated with me regularly, he was on time, professional and went above and beyond my expectations. I will be calling him in future if I have any work I need done. I highly recommend him for any renovation work you need completed.
Thanks for the feedback, Kelly. I always appreciate when customers are happy with the work we do. I certainly look forward to being of service in the future.
I hired Brett to do a number of small jobs in my home, he came on time and provided a reasonable estimate. I found him very pleasant to deal with, he listened, was very respectful of my home and cleaned up after the job.
I would highly recommend his work.
Thanks for the kind words. It was a pleasure to be of service. I am looking forward to the next project in the spring!
Brett
We contacted Brett to repair a portion of our finished basement. The work entailed replacing missing vapor barrier and insulation, replacing drywall and baseboards, replacing a bedroom door and painting the finished project ensuring that the paint matched perfectly with the balance of the finished basement.
Brett came to our house the evening that we contacted him and prepared a detailed quote the next day. We requested the project to be completed as soon as possible given timing of carpet installation etc. Brett was able to commit to completing the project sooner than we could have expected.
Brett and his team (Jenni and Barb) were professional and punctual throughout the 5 day project. We are very particular and have high expectations. Brett was able to exceed those expectations and the finished basement looks excellent. Everything was completed to exact specifications, on time, and on budget.
We definitely recommend Brett and Lone-Wolf Enterprises. In fact we just hired Brett for another project as we were that impressed.
A final note, for those of you with pets, Brett, Jenni and Barb were amazing with our two (very large) dogs. Pet owners understand the concern with having work done in your home while the pets are present. Not only are the team very good at what they do, they are pet friendly too!
Thanks to Brett, Jenni and Barb. We look forward to seeing you again soon for our next project.
Thank you for your review. A satisfied customer is the best form of advertising! We look forward to continuing to be of service.
