In my experience, Marco Lopez is a dishonest business person, does shoddy work, and ripped my off 2800. He also refuses to give warranty paperwork at the end of the job.

This was an insurance job. At the end of the work, I would sign over the cheque. I hired Marco Lopez, he sent his father Leo to do the work. They kept cutting corners to get the cheque as quickly as possible. Leo kept complaining that he needed money because he owed Rev Can 25k and the bank was ready to foreclose on one of his properties.

They tried to avoid: leveling the patio, finishing the garage wall, installing a gutter, finishing the roof tiles on the garage where the addition came down, and painting the walls that they repaired. The new support posts are smaller than the old ones so I have gaps, they did shoddy work on my patio.

At one point, Leo and a large man to my place of work to get money out of me because they were desperate for cash.

They changed replacing my entire upper patio to replacing the floor boards and tried to still charge me 2700 for a 9x10 patio floor.

I decided I didn't want them in my home any more (there were minor things left to do) and we agreed to me signing over the cheque and they re-imbursing me 2800. Marco Lopez's wife Candace, signed a contract on this. She is on Joint Stocks as owner.

They stopped payment on the cheque and refuse to pay me. I filed a claim with BBB and I just heard back that Marco Lopez and his wife Candace Rice never returned the calls. My only recourse now is Small Claims Court.
