Mainstone Tiling

Liam of Mainstone Tiling tiled our bathroom for us, and did very good work. He made excellent precision cutting and placing of the bathroom tiles. He also made some excellent design decisions with respect to guiding us in our bathroom renovation. He was reliable, dependable, punctual, tidy, and diligent. He communicates well with his clients and spoke to us before making any decisions that required deviation from the plan. Our only caveat is that he might work a little too quickly and left a few areas with very small holes in the grout, but which he was more than happy to come back and touch up. He did leave some of the waterproofing layer exposed next to the tile trim that needed finishing by the drywallers (which was done in about a minute). Overall excellent craftsmanship, and satisfied with his services. Fair value for the work provided.

Liam is friendly, prompt and fair. Plus, he’s a skilled and quick worker. He helped me build a cedar fence of about 15 panels this past July. It’s well done and looks great.

The work was done in the timeline given. The work exceeded our expectations with the results of wood workmanship and in the details with placing our address back on the new gate. The hardware was what I wanted and it all looks great and adds a welcoming curb appeal to our house.

Liam was recommended by a family member who suggested he would be a good candidate to carry out a phase of Basement renovation we required during a time when most skilled trades are too busy to consider smaller jobs.

Liam arrived well equipped with required tools and a full size pick up truck for transportation of a substantial amount of materials we were paying for. He was also quite prepared, and had the skills, to utilize some larger tools I had on hand as required.

The job was primarily furring down and strapping of about 900 sq ft of Basement ceiling. A job requiring considerable forethought and attention to detailing which he completed to our full satisfaction over four full (10hr) days.

Liam works quickly and efficiently alone, with a minimum of direction, and although this was not a 'tiling job', he appears to be well trained and skilled at a number of finishing trades. From what I have experienced, his standards seem very high and is quite prepared to accommodate the customer.

I would not hesitate to use his services again and would recommend him to anyone requiring renovation or home finishing services.
