Dave's team did a great job renovating my 1949 year old property in Kitchener. They basically transformed an old house into a new one! Dave had a vision for my kitchen that other contractors I met just did not see. He said: "The kitchen sink should be in front of the window which has a view on the beautiful back yard." He was right! My kitchen is brand new: new quartz counter, new cabinets, new subway tiles, it looks great. They had to work with quirky walls and uneven angles and still made it look impeccable. They did the entire flooring on the main floor and upstairs: they reinforced the beams, secured plywood and covered both with durable and attractive vinyl. The bathroom upstairs was torn down as well. They tiled it beautifully. They rewired all the electrical, replaced all the light switches and vents. They removed the old fireplace on the main floor and in the basement, increasing space and giving a more open look. They finished my basement as well. They also went above and beyond helping me with other "little details" I could not take care of (fixing door handle in back yard, etc.) As a single mom, it was nice to know I did not have to worry about getting these done. Finally, they did all this work within my budget, even though there were "surprises" (subfloor which needed to be reinforced). I will be able to attract the right tenants in my "new" renovated home! Thank you Dave and team.

Malarmar Construction is very professional. We had our bathroom redone and they did a magnificent job. They are easy to work with and leave the job site impeccable. I wouldn't hesitate to get them to more work at my home. They are delightful to deal with and very hard working.

Phenomenal experience. We had given a home reno a shot and were running out of time (and patience). We found Malamar through trusted pros, gave em a call and Dave promptly responded offering a comprehensive quote the next day. He came in, worked quickly, cleanly, and efficiently. Dave used the materials we had already on hand and offered helpful suggestions for us, as two first-time homeowners with no real reno knowledge besides youtube snippets it was very much appreciated. 10/10 recommending Malamar to everybody!

We have called upon Malamar for a few renovation jobs. We have found them to be honest and efficient every time. We know that there will be no padding the estimates to inflate the costs. On a couple of occasions, they came back under-budget due to alternatives they found along the way. We are comfortable that their recommendations are the best course of action to take.

Dave and his team at Malamar are tremendous. We worked together on a whole home renovation and found his work to be of high standards. The staff are polite, accomodating, knowledgeable and professional. Dave also knows how to work within a budget and provide great solutions and options for all jobs, big or small. I highly recommend them.

Malamar Construction was amazing to deal with! Dave brought my visions to life in my new 3400 sq. studio, and I couldn't be happier. He removed and installed new flooring, a bathroom vanity, added new sinks and redirected the plumbing. He also added additional electrical outlets and added a new doorway to direct the flow of traffic within my space better. Would highly recommend Malamar as they have been a delight to work with.
