Maximum Carpentry built me a fine new deck. In the course of their work here, they discovered an area of rotting wood hidden by siding around what once was a basement window, and undertook to replace and repair around the entire area, with new insulation, vapour barrier and new wood.
All the work, from deck to window area restoration, was done swiftly and well - highly recommended.
In addition, company reps are congenial and pleasant - not a minor matter when it comes to having people around for household projects.

Brian and Dave were great, started and finished as they said. They were able to create my dream in the backyard. Outstanding abilities to overcome challenges of clay terrain and the awkward old shed which they incorporated into the design and made it look right. They were always pleasant and easy to have around. They sent back materials delivered that were not up to the quality they demanded.I am the envy of all my neighbors! I would highly reccomend them I am excited to have them back this winter for some indoor work.

Our aging two story deck needed repair. Both Dave & Brian were very professional in detailing the work to be done and time frame for completion. They are a pleasure to work with and provide excellent recommendations to enhance the project with reasonable cost. The finished project is a piece of craftsmanship with details that are not normally included in similar projects. We highly recommend Maximum Carpentry.

We wanted a new deck that would provide a better transition from our back door to our pool. Dave came up with a design that exceeded our expectations without breaking the budget!
When the project was delayed due to a labour disruption at city hall, Dave kept us informed the entire time and started as soon as a permit was available.
We couldn't be happier with the results and our friends and neighbours have all commented on how amazing the deck looks.
