Clint did work in our home 3-4 years ago. Within a few months of the work being completed, we had grout coming out and cracking tiles. Several efforts at remediataion were attempted including significant extra work to stabilize the floor at significant extra cost to us. The problem was never resolved after significant patience on our part. Eventually he just said he could not fix it and that he was leaving the province. DO NOT TRUST THIS CONTRACTOR! We have since had other contractors look at his work and all have said this was not the right approach.
I wish I could provide a review of their work, but I haven't seen any! (I have to rate 1's across the board to post.) After negotiating the contract and providing a deposit, Maxwell Renovations missed three start dates and then advised us they were cancelling the work and returned only a portion of the deposit. (By the way, his contract quoted a 30% deposit "as per the Vancouver by-law". Since then, we found this did not exist - our major error in trusting the high recommendation of a friend.)
Attempts to resolve this through the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Protection BC so far have produced no results.
I am posting this as a warning to all others.
