We hired Matt this past month to do a bathroom remodel for us.

We had hired a contractor previously and the work was horrible.

We didn't have a lot of money left after the initial remodel so we were hesitant we would even really like the washroom, but wanted it finished and fixed up at least.

Out of all the contractors we called and had come to our house for a consult, we instantly liked Matt.

 He was efficent in responding to our call and providing a quote, professional and knowledgeable when it came to the consult and insightful on the bathroom rèmodel options.

Once booked I was very impressed with his emails to keep tract over the few weeks until our remodel date. He asked if we needed help finding tile and gave reccomendations when required.

 Most importantly when it came time to the remodel him and his coworker were very respectful. They took all the proper time to cover up door areas and protect rooms from dust and particles.They worked efficiently and for the most part quietly. I also felt comfortable leaving them alone in the house.    Matt went above and beyond stuff we had discussed to ensure our new area looked its very best. The small details he had fixed up that we didn't think about before made a huge difference in the overall appearance.

 We went from just wanting the bathroom finished and over with to loving something we didn't think we could.

Thank you to Matt for giving us the spa washroom we didn't know we could have but also restoring our contracting experience.

We wouldn't hesitate hiring him again for other house renos or recommending him to our friends and family.

Matt is a phenomenal talent!

We first worked with Matt on our extensive basement renovation (Matt was employed by another top-rated renovation company at them time).

His work on the basement was incredible and quickly noticed that he was that companies 'right-hand man'. We loved the communication level and patience he possessed. He showed extraordinary skill during that project - so we reached out to him directly to see if he wanted to gut and reno our walk-in shower!

His work on the shower was, again, exceptional! He used quality materials (Schluter products and Kerdi board) and guided us to quality tile stores. His work was flawless!

I would definitely recommend Matt to anyone looking for a high-quality renovation with zero headaches and exceptional service.

MBD Construction's handy work shows what happens when you hire a company that takes real pride in its handy-work. MBD finished our job on time, on budget, and left our home clean & tidy. The tile work was professional as was the painting -- the new spotlights added a nice accent to the kitchen bulkhead. We really appreciated the way Matt & MBD respected our home.

Matt came to troubleshoot some electrical issues and replace some outdoor taps at my place. Not only was he persistent in figuring out what the electrical issues were and fixed them, he also made suggestions about the best way to reconfigure the pipes for my outdoor taps. Then he followed up with me a week later to make sure all was still good - how many contractors do that?! Matt is an honest professional and priced well. He works with integrity, has a great work ethic and does quality work. I have recommended him to numerous friends and plan on having him renovate my kitchen and build a deck in the near future.

Excellent Job! We recently had MBD (Matt) renovated our upstairs main bathroom . The final product was better than expected. He pays attention to detail and was done everything ahead of schedule. new countertop,bathtub,tiling flooring done to perfection. We appreciate Matt's confidence and craftsmanship.

Again, MBD exceeds expectations redoing our existing deck in the back yard. We wanted it to be bigger and matt suggested a really cool design which worked perfect. He built it solid and right to spec.
