Hector was a great person to deal with. The work done by Milena was very good, and Hector followed up to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction.

I hired this company to install a new roof in October 2020 which was installed by Hector the owner. Before work had begun, he promised that all old shingles would be removed, and a water underlayment would be installed on the entire roof. In February 2022, we sustained a major leak in our home causing damage to multiple floors. Wanting a second opinion, I contacted other roofing companies to come out and assess the damage and was informed by multiple other roofing professionals that Hector left old shingles installed on most of the roof that even went into the house siding. What kind of a “pro” leaves old shingles on and doesn’t replace the flashing?!

When I contacted Hector about the issue, he claimed that I had agreed to leave old shingles on. Why would I ever agree to this? Even if I did, the “pro” decision to leave them on caused a leak into my home.

Also, in the summer of 2021 I hired Hector to install gutter guards. For this job, he had promised that the gutter guards would be screwed onto the gutters. This was not done; instead they were tucked into the gutter and now not even a year later they are falling apart.

This company will offer a good price and might seem nice, but they will cut corners and not do what they promised. Please avoid this company and go with a company that won’t lie to you and knows what they’re doing.

We had a new roof installed by Hector and his Crew,They worked quickly and efficiently through the hottest time of the year! Hector made me feel very comfortable with the workmanship and warranty of his job he provided.He cared about his work and that was important to me.

Hector was very polite and reliable. He made sure to inform me with the details of the roofing shingles and explained why certain types are better then others. This made me very confident in choosing him over others. The roof was done very quickly and they did a great job the roof looks great. I took a chance calling a roofing contractor phone number from a sign on a street corner, but was surprised to get a human answering and not have to leave a message. Hector came that evening for a site inspection, gave me a competitive quote and said it could fit me in within a week.

They came that Saturday and did an excellent job re-shingling our 12' x12' shed using high quality architectural shingles with underlayment. Looks great and they cleaned up the site nicely afterwards.

I'm delighted with Hector's work and would certainly recommend Melena's Pro Roofers.

The roof was installed in very bad weather conditions but only because he said that is when it would be done. Not many contractors of any discipline can guarantee work on scope, on time and on budget!! But this company did!! The finished product was fantastic!! My wife loved it too!

In my working days overseeing a claims department of an insurance company it was unusual to have contractors of such character.
