I have done several renovations in the past and was immediately impressed with Afshin’s attention to detail and understanding of how I wanted my bathroom renovations to go. I had a problem with an entrance door to one of them and he came up with the perfect solution. I had to leave for 3 weeks and he was constantly in touch if he had any questions about what I wanted. He was always on site when he said he would be and if he couldn’t come for some reason he always communicated it. He is thorough and does quality work along with his team. Afshin writes up a detailed contract and stayed on budget. I added things after the fact and his additional charges were fair. Afshin takes pride in his work and wants to make sure the client is satisfied and happy.

Before interviewing contractors for this project, I was advised to look for a contractor who was willing to listen to my needs when it came to accessibility. Afshin not only listened but he was very thorough during that initial meeting and he informed me of areas that could potentially cost more money. His estimate reflected my needs and clearly outlined his responsibilities and the items that I was responsible for purchasing.

Afshin was on-site each day, working alongside his very skilled assistant and tradespeople. Each day he would clearly communicate to me what they would be working on, discuss any options that I could consider and answer my questions. At the end of each day, he would clean up and let me know when I could expect them back the next day. The quality of work that each team member did was impressive to say the least. For my part, I made sure that I had the necessary purchases on hand well in advance so as not to waste their time. The entire renovation, which included moving a wall, creating a curbless shower, relocating the toilet and sink, and installing a new window was all completed in 16 days and according to budget. I couldn't have asked for anything more. It was a pleasure working with Afshin and I highly recommend New Trend Home Improvement.

Our ensuite bathroom was renovated (by another contractor) 10 years ago. We chose a very textured tile which ended up be very difficult to keep clean and we wanted to redo tile in the walk-in shower.
