I did't like the fact that only the framing was done, and the cost was thousands and thousands of dollars they ate up the budget in mostly labour costs, 90% paid and less than 5% of materials, Both Edward Mclean and partners Alim Khataum of No Limits Design (NLD) walked out, without purchasing the drywall, muding, taping primer, trims, doors, handles baseboards, laminate flooring, light fixtures, tiles, ceramics, cabinets and more. This was all included in the contract (THE CONTRACT WAS ALL ONE SIDED, IN THEIR FAVOR) we paid for and didn't receive. Neither did they finish the job, they were given monies to purchase the drywall, didn't buy any piece at all, and want use to pay directly for the drywall the second time around. We refused and they walked out and took framing materials that was purchased with our money and supplies. We went through the BBC and Consumers Protection, to have a third party. Yet they fuse to finish or reimburse us. BBB rated them C- (Only 900 square foot project) Both partners wanted us to pay all this with the last payment of less than $3,000.00 that we held back.
