We searched a long time to find someone who could do this work for us. Steve put forth a great effort to find just what we wanted. He was very professional and communicated well keeping us up to date with information. Work was completed in two days, one to establish footings and one to install the pergola. The work area was always cleaned up well and Steve took special care to work around existing plants and shrubs. We are very pleased with our new maintenance free pergola! Thank you!!!

Northwood did an outstanding job with my deck. I initially solicited quotes from six different deck contractors in my area before selecting Northwood. Northwood's price was reasonable in the middle of the road compared with other contractors, but what really struck me was how concerned Steve was with the quality of the work. His estimate was far more detailed and he took care to notice subtleties that none of the others even talked about. Steve wasn't afraid to be candid with me about which of my ideas were workable and which ones would create problems I would regret down the road - he was more interested in building a deck right than taking my money the quickest way he could. The work itself was done impeccably well. Northwood's employees were skilled, courteous, professional and worked long hours to ensure the project was done on time. They executed details to a very high woodworking standard - the picture framed edges and pergola especially are cut and joined to furniture quality. The deck is solid as a rock and looks as good now as the day it was complete. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with and for future outdoor projects I will go directly to them without bothering to solicit additional quotes. What you get from Northwood is a reasonable price, plenty of honesty, and fantastic quality.

Northwood Custom Decks has completed two projects for us and each time the work had been completed on budget, and Steve New took the time to find the type of stairs we had in mind. The workers are professional, polite, quiet and keep the work site neat and leave it clean on completion. I would not hesitate to employ Northwood again should the need arise.

Northwood built a very aesthetically pleasing privacy fence. Because we required the fence as soon as possible, they went out of their way to fit us into their very busy schedule. The work was completed in a very timely manner, in spite of some rainy weather. Upon our request. they immediately remedied a problem with some warping boards. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Steve was great to work with. Provided awesome insight in both design and construction for our project. Completed within our budget expectations and beyond what we could have hoped for.

Steve and his crew did a great job on our 2 level bar with the cupboards and a sink, we picked the tile and Steve put everything together all I had to do is paint (no problem)

Looks great. Would I do it all over again with Northwood....Yes!

I am pleased with the quality and craftmanship that Steve and his team displayed to design and build this poolside deck gazebo. Steve came up with designs for us to choose from and finishes that allowed us to get the look we want at a cost we could handle. Finishing details like curved arch supports and inset beams show this is a custom build. They even rebuilt the gate into the pool to ensure it was as custom looking as the gazebo. There were some weather delays but Steve kept us informed throughout. I have no hesitation in recommending Northwood for doing quality work.
