I hired Novelty Renovation to redo my basement bathroom which was in a dire need of a makeover. Tariq was also recommended by a family member which made the process easier since I have had dealings with other contractors and really have issues trusting people after my last renovation.
Tariq came to see the job and took his time to go over what exactly it was that I wanted (I can be a very picky customer) which I really liked right from the start. I got the estimate which was more detailed than I could expect and he clearly stated what was included and explained right from the start that anything other than this scope of work will cost extra if I decide to make any changes down the road.
From start to finish the job was done reasonably on time but there were a lot of changes to the original scope of work due to things that were discovered upon demolition of the bathroom (this was also mentioned in the details of the scope of work!). He never left us in the dark or neglected us even though he had other jobs scheduled he still respected our time and showed up when he would say he is coming.
Overall, me and my wife are super happy with the work that Tariq and his guys did and I could not have been happier with the work. I will definitely use him for my other renovation jobs at home and will recommend Novelty Renovations to anyone looking for a trustworthy contractor.
