We went to Ottawa Garage Door Systems on the recommendation of a couple of neighbours for our new house build. From the initial experience of finding the right door, Corey and team helped us find what we were looking for within our budget. The doors arrived when promised, and were stored for us until we were ready at the build site. The installation happened when scheduled, and when challenges popped up (one door needed a low clearance opening system) the change was accommodated seamlessly. The quality of everything provided was excellent, and we're more than happy with the look and installation of the garage doors. OGS provided exceptional service! From the start, within 48 hours of reaching out to OGS for a quote on a new door, Corey was at my place measuring, advising and providing a to the penny quote. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, having been in the business for a long time. He provided colour samples for us to hold onto to be sure of our choice.

After placing the order, I was surprised he didn’t require a deposit. The door arrived right on the projected delivery date and a convenient installation date was set.

The installer arrived on time and was very courteous. He explained the process and timeline getting to work immediately. He disassembled the old door and installed the new door in under 2 hrs. Just to note, the door was a manual lift; no automatic opener. He took me through operations and basic maintenance. His work was very tidy and l cleaned up after himself. OGS took the old door away for disposal.

In the end, the price for our door was good and the service seamless and excellent. I would highly recommend OGS. As a note, I mentioned that I had a great experience getting a new garage door to a colleague. He asked who we used and when I told him OGS, he said he’d had the same solid experience replacing his door with them.

It was a pleasure dealing with Ottawa Garage Door Systems for our new garage door. It was a neighbour that recommended them after their positive experience with work done at their home.

We appreciated the time Corey took showing and explaining their door systems when we arrived at the office. The work was completed on schedule as told to us. The installation of the door by Patrick was done efficiently. He represented the company well in his pleasant and polite manner.

We are very pleased with the look of the door and feel it deserving to pass on our compliments.

Yesterday afternoon upon closing the garage door one of the cables broke that dislodged the door trapping the vehicles in the garage. It was impossible to open. Having used OGDS in the past to replace door springs and the outstanding service provided, there was no hesitation to contact them. In speaking with Corey, although being after hours and not an emergency since I didn’t need use of a car until mid day. We agreed it could be attended to the following day. I had a follow up call from Doug who advised a technician would be along by mid morning.

Jordan arrived shortly before 9:AM. And now for the recommendation: Jordan is a very pleasant individual to converse with, strong communication skills and very knowledgeable in this business. Despite the door not wanting to cooperate in getting back on a level track Jordan eventually sorted it out and all was done within an hour. He showed me the worn cables and suggested prevented maintenance for the future.

I enquired as Jordan left if he had a busy day ahead and he happily said he had many more customers to serve and mentioned the geographical areas covering quite a territory. It’s people like Jordan that uphold the strong reputation at OGDS. Incidentally they start at 6:AM and have an emergency number.

Corey and his team provided excellent advice, service and pricing for all stages of the project from borrowing samples, selecting a model, organizing a custom paint colour and installation. I would highly recommend them.

We purchased our replacement garage door from Corey in the spring of 2016 and it has been trouble free ever since. Unfortunately, earlier this week (April 12, 2022) and unbeknown to me one of the sensors was knocked off and put out of alignment. One phone call to Corey and he was here that afternoon to correct the issue and realign the sensors. No Charge, I challenge anyone to find this type of excellent customer service in today’s environment! Thank you Corey, very impressive. We would not hesitate to recommend Corey to family and friends, a truly trusted service provider.

The service was awesome, they even fixed the old door temporarily so we could use until new door arrived. They were quick and very efficient. We were very pleased with there work, and I would highly recommend them to any one.
