I am very satisfied with the results of my bathroom renovation. I would like to thank Brigette Murray, Project Manager and Houssam Khatib, Project Coordinator, for their support and guidance throughout the process. They are very knowlegable and a pleasure to work with. I would also like to thank the tradesmen who worked diligently and as a result, created my dream bathroom. I highly recommend Ottawa General Contractors for all your renovation projects.

In 2016, I hired OGC to do the renovations at my place. I was under the impression that some of the materials that were used during the process was not in accordance with the statement of work. This was due to the fact that I was not fully informed by the project manager at the time about what material was used. I contacted OGC about another concern in 2017, and at the time I thought it was addressed, however it was not, and reached out again. This time around, I was heard, and Fatima Abbas the Customer Service Manager took care of both problems. The way that she and Andrew handled my concerns was excellent and I have regain faith in OGC. She managed the work like a director of an orchestra. In retrospect I understand that they were not made aware of many of the problems that I had. Complaints from clients are at many times hidden by the Project Authority. Communications is often filtered and it was great to see that they did everything in their power to ensure it was done right. OGC fixed all the issue and painted the wall in order to match the other walls. They removed the old caulking around the window, grab bars and shower tap and re-caulk everything as a good will gesture.
Throughout the process I was kept aware of the work involved, when it would be done and at what time. If there was a delay I was informed and was told when it would resume. Everything was done and was overwhelmed by the high quality work done. I can honestly say that OGC honour their warranty in my case and even went beyond.

The Coco Tile Team are very professional and provided an excellent result. The workmanship is first class and also provided good advice with respect to the materials used. The Team recused a poor rough-in renovation by another contractor and finished the project to our high expectation.

We hired them to build an in-law suite onto our home. I’m not sure that they were the reason, but there were some service delays relating to materials we ordered. I was impressed with how hard OGC worked to make up the lost time. We were only a couple weeks past the original deadline when the project was finished, and that was after a delay that last almost a month.

There were some frustrating problems with the permits, and I’m glad I went with OGC because I’m not sure another contracting team would have put up with everything it to actually get the custom home approved for the location. The city put the project about two months behind, but that was still enough time for OGC to finish the home before the snow started last year.

This work called for a perfect score, and this is the first time that I’ve ever written that in my life. They didn’t need much time to evaluate our needs and schedule the project. The plans and permits were all handled by them, which I understand was a lot of work (laneway home with a residence already on the property). There’s nothing much to note about the cost or the amount of time it took other than that it never deviated from the original estimate.

Across three different jobs they have done two renovations and one new custom laneway home for us. I was always impressed with all the ideas they introduced during the design phase. They cared about what I wanted in every case, and they often recommended details and features that were better than anything I could come up with.

Ottawa General Contractors added an addition to our home this year and they did an outstanding job. Several years ago we had a horrible experience with a contractor and we were too scared to renovate again. But Ottawa General Contractors changed our mind. They were so organized and gave my husband and I a team of managers to call any time we had a question. They were always there for us (even during holidays when most people ignore you!). We were so impressed that we referred our neighbours and in-laws to them.
