Tim and his crew were very professional and worked through some difficult supply chain issues (lumber, concrete, trades, weather, etc.) to bring the project in on budget and only slightly over schedule even after we through a few additional jobs at them during the construction process.

Tim was recommended to us by a neighbour, who had been a contractor himself. He told me if he wanted anything done himself, Tim would be the guy!

Yes, he was not wrong. Tim is the guy for us!

We had a major backyard make over. Tim and his landscaper came over to inspect the property. Immediately, they noticed a few aspects that needed attention. Those issues were included in the project work. There were many glitches as the work went on. However, every obstacle was taken care of promptly and all we did was to sit back and watch and we did not even have to say anything at all. The project was completed on time, on budget and the result was amazing!

The next project was to replace the patio flooring, strength the supporting posts, replace the covering over the patio, replace the patio enclosure/railings and add pull down screens to enclose the entire patio space. It was a huge undertaking because it involved so many tradespersons from everywhere. It was totally amazing because Tim organized all the tradespersons and every bit of the projected was coordinated like clockwork.

And yes, the project was done on time, on targeted budget and the result was absolutely perfect.

Tim is honest and he is transparent with the cost and he guarantees the quality of his work. To top it off, we can always count on him to follow up if necessary. And he has. We have had to call Tim for a few minor consultations after completion and he is reliable and punctual.

I selected PPC and Tim Payne for my project because of all the companies I interviewed, Tim came across as the most knowledgeable and professional of the people I spoke to. As it turned out, I couldn't have made a better choice. I recently hired PPC - Payne Pacific Contracting Inc for replacing the existing patio in my townhouse. The owner, Tim Payne, was very easy to work with and provided the detailed estimate with drawing and even answered promptly all the Strata’s questions. He is very professional, and his team works hard! I highly recommend PPC!

In 2013, I contacted Tim to fix an exterior basement door frame that was water damaged and rotten, and to add a wall and door to make an additional room in the basement. Tim provided an extremely thorough estimate along with a copy of his insurance. During the estimate, he was collaborative and provided different options for the additional room. We hired him because he appeared honest and we trusted his abilities.

He started the job promptly. Upon starting the job, he learned that there was additional rot outside of the door frame. He advised us of the additional rot before starting the job and provided us with a written estimate for the additional costs.

As for the additional room, he framed the new wall but had subcontractor put up the drywall. There were some parts of the drywall that was rough or had pits and when I brought this up with Tim, he fixed up the drywall without a fuss. Tim completed the job in the time frame he provided.

5 years later, the wall he constructed is still perfect and the outside door frame is not leaky or rotted because of his workmanship. I would not hesitate to contact him again.
