Pro 1 construction is especially Paul were great to work with, kept my quote within the amount we discussed. The time line were met properly, they were always willing to go above and beyond on everything that had to be done. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who is doing any construction or renovations. I give it a 5 star rating.

Covid time is filled with challenges. Construction work is filled with surprises. Important thing is how you deal with it.

ProONE did an amazing job. Paul was honest and easy to communicate with, professional and responsive to questions or concerns. Our project grew and changed as we got into it, and Paul made sure we stayed on budget, gave excellent suggestions and when there was an issue it was immediately resolved without question.

Over the course of the renovation, his trades were scheduled to maximize efficiency; they were always on time, workers were courteous and respectful. Project completed on time and we love the results. Great job!

This company is excellent. From the moment the owner Paul came to our house, we had full confidence that our roof would be installed beautifully. We were not disappointed. All the works (remove old cedar shakes, clean up site daily, workers very careful with all existing house and yards, install 1/2' exterior plywood, install storm shield membrane on plywood, replace all metal run offs, flashings, plumbing shields, install three new sky lights).

The final result was great. Our roof looks wonderful. Everything that was promised and agreed to was done in an efficient and timely manner. Good value too!!

Had Paul from ProOne give me a quote on a bathroom renovation on May 28 2018. We Received a contract that was pending financing on June 8th and signed the contract with Paul for $20,606.25 on June 28. Paul then asked us to look at a supplier of his to get the bathroom fixtures at a better price then what was quoted. We did and got everything we wanted $4000 cheaper then our supplier. Here is when things started to go downhill.

Items from his supplier had a 2 week delay, and during this time Paul complained that since giving the quote and his start date his work load had significantly increased and was going to loose money on our job, a complaint that was repeated several times over the next 4 months.

I could go on and on about the amounts of delays that would follow, the days of no shows when we had to put our dog into daycare, but I will leave it at the contract saying 10-14 days for completion, workers were actually on site 38 days and the project took 4 months.

The biggest problem was the finishing work, namely the tiles. Complained several times about tiles being uneven, tiles not lining up, no rhyme or reason to the layout (really looks like the tile guy just threw tiles on the wall) inconsistency in the grout both in depth, colouring or just simply missing, absolutely horrendous job on the caulking and very poor finish on the drywall and painting. Paul assured me all deficiencies would be addressed by end of project and he would prefer I not complain until the job was complete.

On the last day Paul was here he was demanding the final payment of $1500. I said deficiencies were not addressed, big pile of tiles, drywall, drywall mud and various boxes were left to be cleaned up (as stated in contract) mirror had not been installed, placed bathroom vanity over the heat duct and now we had no access to clean it, and what about the differences in prices of the bathroom fixtures? You know, the $4000 in savings that were never passed on to us? Paul responded he was done with the job and would have his lawyers file a lien on our house to get the money owed to him and then stormed out.

I have since cleaned up most of the deficiencies and then in December had a leak in the shower. I contacted Paul about the leak and asked if he was going to honour his warranty. He said when I pay him his money he would. I told him he hasn’t compleated the job and when he did complete it he would be paid in full. Haven’t heard back from him and had to fix the leak myself.

Paul is extremely unprofessional both in the way he talks to his customers and how he runs his business. Terrible experience.

Paul was flexible,informative and WAS VERY DETAILED is the work. He helped designed the area getting the most out of the space. His worker were very polite and respectful, and the workmanship was excellent. This company went above and beyond to create an amazing space for us, I especially like his ability to keep my budget in the forefront. They used high quality materials and cut no corners. I would have them again and would recommend to anyone who wants a friendly, hassel free reno. The place was always kept clean.

I was quite surprised by how fast proONE responded to my inquiry. They got back to me almost immediately while other contractors took weeks or never called back. I was very satisfied by their timeliness, the quality of work, and the project was done on budget. My in-laws originally had some reservations about replacing the railing but when they saw the end result, they just loved it and said it was money well spent. I'd definitely hire proONE again with future projects.

Responded quickly to the ad and emails that were sent. Came by to assess the project and a couple days later my railing was removed quickly and efficiently. Very happy with the service!

I was very pleased with the service provided by proONE Construction. They were quick to respond to my posting on TrustedPros requesting the conversion of a gravel parking space to a concrete slab. Within days an excavator was onsite to clear the area, and an efficient crew poured the slab one day later. The process was quick and efficient, and the end result was exactly what I had in mind.

We hired Pro1 to renovate our outdated 1970’s home. Right from the beginning Aaron and his team assisted us in design, layout, cabinets, bathroom vanities, and tile selection that we chose to incorporate in our remodel. We are extremely pleased with the results, and the support was there for us every step of the way. They truly are fast, professional, and affordable. Despite our tight budget, and some additional work that we had completed, Aaron came in well within our budget. The end results were amazing, and we are proud to show-case our home. We plan on doing more work to the exterior soon, and we will only be using Pro1 for all future work.
