Property Rehab

We hired Property Rehab to remove a wall to expand our kitchen, refit and customize our cabinets, lay flooring and install new LED lighting, as well as update a laundry area and convert a two piece powder room to a three piece bath. From our first meeting with Roger, we felt comfortable with his personality and confident in his plan. Through out the reno, he and his team were very respectful of our space. They were attentive to small details and provided excellent workmanship. Roger was always available for questions, his proactive approach to handling 'hiccups' that come hand in hand with renovations provided us with an overall calm experience. We were very happy with the timeline, and feel we received excellent value for our investment. We had such a positive renovation that even with four young kids in the house, we are already looking for our next project. We would highly recommend Roger and Property Rehab for a home renovation project.

We recently moved to St.Catharines, and we have needed to complete some projects on our house. In finding Roger online, I was delighted that he took our project, plus it was just before Christmas, but he managed to get the job done quickly and completely as promised. Very good crew to deal with, and super clean work habits. Highly recommend.

After several major leaks in our roof last winter and during heavy rainfall this summer, we needed to have our roof fixed. Unfortunately, despite being told the roof was relatively new when we moved in, we learned that only a few of the shingles were new, put on top of rotting wood and a sub-par roof in general. Roger was able to identify these issues immediately and he explained the situation to us honestly and in a language that those who do not work in the construction industry could understand.

We hired Roger and his Property Rehab team to replace our entire roof, as well as the flat roof over our sunroom that was in a rotted and dilapidated state. Despite having several projects taking place at the time, Roger went out of his way to fit us into his schedule. He and his team even worked on the weekend to get the job done. His team showed up early in the morning for each day of work and worked well into the evening hours. The entire team was very professional and conscientious and they work very hard indeed. You can tell they really do care about the work that they do and they are determined to do the best possible job. They are knowledgeable and highly-skilled.

Furthermore, Roger checked in with his team and us, every step of the way. He even went above and beyond to find cost-effective solutions for us.

We have a large roof with a steep peak, so I expected the job to take much longer. But it was completed incredibly quickly and it looks amazing. He went above and beyond with the Ice & Water Shield that his team covered our roof with to ensure it would be completely protected against bad weather and wear and tear for years to come.

For the entire project, Roger and his team were professional, courteous, approachable and dedicated. They don’t just get the job done, they go above and beyond. They do everything they can to make sure you experience next to no disruption while they’re working and they do a great cleanup, ensuring everything is spotless before they leave.

We had Property Rehab (Roger and his work crew) do major renovations on our home. Our ideas were expressed to Roger on our first meeting and I am happy to say that Property Rehab definitely made the vision I had for my home come to life!

We were very impressed with how quick Property Rehab managed to complete the demolition part of the renovation. We decided to have walls torn down and kitchen torn out while we were on vacation. When we returned, we were impressed that all the demo was done and our home wasn't a disaster zone. The dust, tools and debris had all been cleaned up and everything was ready for the work to begin.

Throughout the project we found that Roger explained everything that was happening and was very helpful with even the smallest details. We appreciated the fact that Roger encouraged our vision and made practical, affordable and knowledgeable suggestions to guide us through the hectic and sometimes confusing world of home renovation.

We are so happy with all the work that has been done inside and outside of our home and we will be hiring Property Rehab again in the future!

I hired Roger to help me renovate my home based on the reviews I read on this site. He gave me a fair quote and so I went with him. Unfortunately, after a few months, things are starting to fall apart. In a rush to get the job done many corners were cut and in every way imaginable. Drywall mudding is patchy, bubbly and rough and there is a huge crack along one of the freshly mudded seems. My fridge does not open on one side due to inaccurate measurement when fitting the kitchen cabinets, my tap is falling off the sink, my closet doors are chipped and warped. You name it. While the staff I worked with were all very nice, Roger began acting poorly part way through the project. We had a major break down in communication and while I accept some of the blame, refusing to return phone calls and texts and responding to concerns with 'that's not my problem now' is the the kind of professional I would feel comfortable recommending nor taking up on the one year workmanship warranty.

Roof had several leaks after about a year of owning the house even though the shingles appeared fairly new. It was when Roger came to check it out and found that it was installed far below minimum code causing rot in the plywood, and leaks. He was able to replace everything and install the new shingles as well as cover my whole roof with "Ice and Water Shield", all within my budget. He went above and beyond for us to guarantee that my roof will stand the test of time.

Roger and his team are truly outstanding construction professionals. I basically had them come to fix the work that another contractor messed up. So it really was Rehab work!! Fairly involved project including extensive structural work and detailed cosmetic trim to the exterior of of a house that is in on a high profile street in Oakville. Roger was accessible, timely and flexible. He carefully supervised the project and was easy to speak with and kept right on his quotation. Extremely good result that showed his pride in workmanship!

We interviewed 5 different contractors. Roger Provost of Property Rehab was the last one we interviewed. Finally! Someone with the skill set, the vision and the creativity to create our dream family/entertainment room.

We wanted to go all out...and we had a budget. Roger listened, heard and envisioned what we wanted. A rustic, warm, bar/entertainment/family room with a guest/craft/hobby bedroom. He did it. Within our budget.

His team...EVERYTHING you would expect and want and more from a contractor, but is so hard to find today. We're talking about accommodating, over the top professionalism and skill sets that were proven day in and day out to exceed our expectations. Clearly displaying work ethic, pride, patience and top notch skills that built and created a space that we now can't seem to ever want to leave.

They truly exceeded our expectations. They went beyond our vision. The craftsmanship that went into this project is beyond words, you must look at our photos. There's nowhere in the house we'd rather be (even with the rest of our house being pretty awesome too). They converted an unfinished basement with just the bare bones to start with and created a fun, warm and cozy space in our house after we articulated and communicated the design and vision we wanted for our family and friends...they achieved this, because they paid attention to all the fine details and all those details brought the space together as a whole and we couldn't be happier.

Roger and his team were consistent with their work. Roger checked in on a daily basis not just with his team, but with us as well.

We hired Roger (Property Rehab) to turn our unfinished basement into a Rec room as well as a home theater. We were very specific about what we wanted and Roger and his team did a great job to make sure that everything was done to our liking. As far as the price it was fair and competitive with other quotes I received and within my original budget.

With all jobs unexpected problems can happen but Roger was easy to get a hold of at all times to deal with any concerns I had and frequently checked in. Roger and his team were friendly and professional from the quote to the completion of the project.
