worst experience we have ever had , I'm in the industry and trusted these people to do the job they guaranteed they could do...$83,000 down the tube , we had to get a second renovator to complete the mess Re-Design left, paying out an additional $75,000.
Re-Design are inexperienced , tardy , and completely over their head involving anything other than a deck. We had 7 code violations just on the installation of the ovens, wrong amperage to both units , exposed wiring , wrong configuration , etc. etc.
not one thing was completed that they started , and yet they kept on asking for more money.
They took a $27.000 deposit , that now we have found out that they weren't allowed to, and kept on billing us for partial work. They talked me into using their "cabinet maker" which in turn was themselves...making cabinets on a chinese table top saw , the results were a joke if you consider $40,000 a laughing matter.
We had mold issues because of negligence with installing drywall , and improper vapour barrier , the electrical was compromised and we had no power to the north side of our house.
Not one thing did they bring to a conclusion or finish...they even tiled over all the heating vents and never cut them out.
my only advice is BEWARE , be wary , and good luck if you don't heed this review.

Complaint: We are a bathtub refinishing company contracted to Redesign Renos for refinishing a fiberglass tub and shower unit in NW Calgary. The job was completed on August 30 2016. Their client was happy with refinishing services we provided. Invoice was submitted to Redesign Renos for just under $1500.00 including tax and was to be paid by e-transfer upon receipt of the invoice.To date that has not happened, no one has returned our emails, text messages, or phone calls. Our advice to contractors being contacted by this company should use extreme caution when dealing with this company.
