We had 3 carpenters working here for 10 weeks. Dan the idea man, Steve the perfectionist and Jo an excellent worker who got things done. They made a great team. Shannon build the patio stairs and some fine work at the end. The house was a disaster zone during the rebuild but well worth the inconveniences we all went through.

They dug up and replaced the front walkway and steps, tore up the old flooring, removed and replaced a new gas fireplace, took out fans from a 16 foot ceiling and replaced them with great light fixtures, put hardwood flooring in the entrance, stairs, living space, hall and three bedrooms. painted the everything, build a great decorative metal rod safety feature where the half wall was removed, put in a granite floating shelf under the fireplace. The new crown moldings, baseboards. and window casings look spectacular, as does everything.

RENUIT HOME IMPROVEMENT are very busy and We had to wait for their service a long time, but at the end it really paid off.

I believe that this company has the best workers I have ever seen. They won't stop

before everything is as you want it. The greatest workmanship I have ever seen in

Canada. I would hire them again anytime.

The Renuit team was reliably at our home and ready to start work everyday by 8:30am at the latest, even when there was heavy snowfall. While the roof was open, they worked late to ensure that the building was properly sealed up before leaving. Reunit were able to complete the project within the projected time frame and both carpenters were friendly and professional in their interactions with us (the owners) and our children. When a disagreement about the bill arose at the end of the project, Reunit's owner Jason sat with us to negotiate a reasonable agreement on that bill and took responsibility for his role in the issue. Based on all of the above, we would recommend Reunit to others.

RENUIT has been assisting me with repairs to the condo I own in Courtenay, which I have rented out. I have been dealing with Jason for a few years and he has been very helpful with getting the work accomplished. He has offered solutions to the issues and has made suggestions to lower costs. RENUIT has professional staff on hand to provide the best quality repairs as required. Jason and staff have been courteous to my tenants and have communicated the timing of the work with them. Being these are just small jobs it may take a while for crew availability.

Highway Maintenance Contractor for the Sea to Sky Highway and Golden Ears Bridge

I had a few jobs for Renuit to do at my home. One of the projects involved repairing the damage caused by rot under my bay window and also around the door into the shop. The other project was to create a new opening in the dining room for a fixed pane window. I found the men who worked on these projects to be very courteous and willing to keep me involved in the process. Jay was a skilled carpenter who takes pride in his work. The job was completed within the estimated time.

Jason sent us Jay who did this work. Jay did an outstanding job on everything. He took pride in doing the work as if it was his own house. I could not be more pleased with the quality of materials and workmanship. Jason checked in to ensure we were satisfied with the work being done.

I would highly recommend RENUIT to anyone in need of Home Improvements. My only suggestion is book very early as they are busy.

I liked that they were able to come to our rescue in a timely manner. We were having our deck refinished and discovered that we couldn't go any farther with that project because of rotten walls in a porch room. A part of the deck was the roof for the porch room. I called Jason on a Friday, desperately looking for a contractor that would be able to help us out and rebuild the room. Monday morning Tristin showed up with a helper and they were very careful about removing the vinyl siding (the colour isn't made and more) and get all the rot out of the structure. The room was finished by Friday. and the deck crew were able to seal up and finish the deck before it rained.

Jason and his crew took out a load bearing wall, installed an engineered beam, installed flooring, replaced deck stairs, changed hot water tank and widended doors. It was great that Jason looked after the engineering side of the wall removal and beam installation, he had a good contact for the approval and it went smoothly. He was up front about the cost and didn't exceed the quoted price. There were some material issues from a supplier and we received some damaged flooring but Jason looked after that as well and got a new shipment sent and dealt with the vendor on it. It only led to a minor change in schedule. Overall a great experience and I would use Jason and RENUIT again.

I am very happy with the new deck - lovely wood, and very nicely built. Tristan and Keenan were no problem at all to have around.

There was one minor glitch (exposed concrete footing) in the construction, probably due to imprecise direction on my part.

We have been happy with all the small jobs we've had Jason do for us, often for less than the estimate. We save up small jobs we can no longer do for our selves (disabled seniors) and then we call him when we have about 4 or more hours work that needs doing.

our roof was completed in an extremely quick timeline. Clean up was exemplary. The living room renovation including the removal of a main fireplace. Renuit employees were extremely easy to work with. They made sure I was happy with the process. Renovations were finished well inside of the quoted time.

Removal of load-bearing wall and installation of recessed engineered beam to increase usable floor space. Rewiring with several new light fixtures. New drywall ceiling. Install hardwood laminate floor including stairs. Drywall repairs. New baseboards and trims. Remove old shower and install new glassed-in tiled floor-to-ceiling shower enclosure with tiled bench. Install water supply and drainage piping for home bar. Install new bathroom and bar sinks.

RENUIT was very thorough, fast and did a great job. Quality workmanship. I'm very happy with their work.

Renuit will be my first call when gathering estimates on future renovations. Where so many other contractors make the mistake of forcing their ideas on you, Jason listened to my ideas, added sensible suggestions to make the project a little cheaper then made the project a reality. Jason gave me a quote that was a little higher than some but did not bill over estimate at all. The crew that performed my little project, kept me in the loop and sought my approval on every step of the renovation, kept the site clean, went a little over estimated completion time but finished the project 100%. Now I am saving for my kitchen renovation next year.

Keenan and Jason were quick and got the job done well. Jason was very personable and easy to work with.

This company was a pleasure to have in my new home. The work was done efficiently and with care. Being left with new appliances that were not levelled by the seller I was grateful to know that the Renuit gang did this service for me at no charge. Two thumbs up from a pleased customer!

Work was done well, the people were friendly. We went a little over budget but are pleased with the results.

We had Jason and his crew come to do some small trim work, and they ended up building us a beautiful patio cover as well. They kept us well informed throughout the renovation process, and performed quality work. Great work, a very good team, work completed on time. Kept the worksite clean. Very Professional, had lots of great ideas. I would use them again, no questions asked. I was made aware of costs throughout the whole project, no surprises.

What enticed me to Re-Nu-It Home Improvements was how Jason hands out his quotes, a deposit of 50% up front and the remaining 50% when the job is done. This is a huge piece of mind to know exactly how much you are paying for the project at hand.

I've recently arrived to the Comox Valley from Southern Ontario, the house I've purchased here needs some TLC, I've replaced all the main things like washer/dryer fridge/stove , hot water tank , replaced all polyB piping etc.

However my traveling sweet cat was not pleased on our arrival, the screen door here did not allow her to see her new world, I purchased a door from Home Depot and hired a local "handyman " to do the insallation, the "handyman " turned out to be a buffoon and couldn't follow the instructions to install the new door, he barely started the job then decided not to show up and complete the task. I am so new to the area that I was now very uncertain how to proceed, I decided to Google home renos, I viewed various sites and decided to contact :Janson at Renuit to do this simple task. I was very impressed by Jason he is very professional, friendly and honest, he arrived on time and discussed the door installation, within a few days the door was installed and works beautifully.

I have many renos in the future that I have on my "TO DO LIST" .......from now I will only call Jason to do the work.

I was wanting to get my home renovated for quite sometime, I finally made up my mind when I saw an advertisement for RE-NU-IT Home improvements in our local news paper. we called and spoke to Jason, he came in to do an estimate. All I can say is what an amazing transformation ,I always felt like I was living in a dungeon , and now my home feels so bright ,and cheery. I am very pleased with the work done. Jason and his crew were friendly and helpful when we asked questions. I would select RE-NU-IT again if I needed further renovations.

I was very pleased with both the timeliness and professionalism with which my renovation was undertaken.Several additions,changes,and recommendations were made throughout the process,and were adequately discussed with me as to reasons and benefits.The crew was,as well,quite amenable to changes I suggested "en route". Previously existing issues--e.g. questionable wiring--were brought to my attention and addressed.I was most impressed by the "ownership" of the work and attention to detail shown by all members of the crew. Jason and his team started the job on the day they said they would. Tristan his carpenter laid the floors which took 3 weeks as he was on his own and he did a wonderful job. One suggestion is to lay the stairs last with future jobs. They did not stop our work to go elsewhere which has happened to us before and for this we were grateful. The clean up was also good and the after service care was excellent. We paid 50% upfront on signing the contract and the balance on completion. We would highly recommend this company.

Great people to have do work. Throughout the process we were kept up to date on the progress and any problems. No question was to simple and they took time to explain anything and everything. Along the way they made suggestions to improve the project. They even came up with a way for us to hang bird feeders on the deck. A minor fix was required after the work was done. Jason was right there and the problem was promptly fixed. Eighteen months after the job when ever I happen to see Jason he asks how the deck and garage are.

Fantastic work done by a great crew. In budget, on time, and lots of information when requested. I will be hiring them again. I would and have recommended RE-NU-IT to anyone.

I would just like to say Jason has a great gift to foresee what I could not quite imagine but I'm so glad I trusted his judgement cause my kitchen turned out amazing and I just love it. Jason and Dan did a super job they also took out my old carpet and put in new flooring, painted the kitchen, they went above and beyond. Super job guys I'm very happy :)

We really wanted to do this job ourselves but knew we didn't have the time to do it right. We so appreciated Renuit's committment to checking in with us to make our vision happen. Communication was almost daily and any times we had questions they were answered quickly. Their teamwork was excellent.

As with any project happening at a busy building time there was the odd hold up here and there but again, their communication made us feel at ease. We had a fairly open budget for the project but nothing ever went ahead without our approval. A very professional company.

Jason and his RE-NU-IT crew did a major reno for us this summer. The job turned out larger than expected due to rotten wood found in the walls from many winter storms. Suggestions given were very helpful and the quality of work and attention to detail was impressive. We hope to have RE-NU-IT back for our next home project.
