We hired Accel Construction for a kitchen renovation and a seismic upgrade of our Arbutus area home. The kitchen had been renovated 17 years earlier by guys who had flipped the home to us; it had looked superficially good but the workmanship was poor, and the materials and appliances were starting to fall apart. We interviewed 5 outfits but were most impressed in our interactions with Accel. Brad and Chad struck us as organized, competent, serious and trustworthy; and their pricing quotations were competitive. Phone calls to references provided further support for our impressions, and reviews were uniformly positive. Our work involved a design phase and a construction phase and, for the most part, Accel's scheduling was accurate as was their costing. Brad and the crew (Art and Chris) were always courteous, conscious of minimizing impact on our daily routine, and ready to explain details at each stage of the work. On one or two occasions when minor discrepancies arose between plans and execution (as is wont to occur in any renovation), Accel was quick to rectify the problems without issue or added cost. We have had prior experience with a major attic renovation that involved one of the established, big-name renovation companies in Vancouver, in which we had no end of troubles with workmanship. I can say that our experience with Accel has been far superior; they are an outfit with integrity. I can (and have) recommend(ed) them without reservation.

Chad and his team are amazing! They did a complete kitchen renovation. There work is of the highest quality. Their communication is amazing as well, which was very important to me throughout the renovation. They listened to what we wanted and made it happen. There is nobody else I would use for major renovations.

A very professional company! Chad answered my initial call quickly and came over to give me an estimate on renovating my bathroom. He was a great help when it came to selecting cabinet, toilet, mirror, and so on. The complete reno was done in a matter of days, and I am thrilled with the outcome. I was really amazed and pleased with the finished product of my apartment. I visited often to check on the work in progress and was impressed with the efficiency of the tear down and renovation. I was presented with options for the renovation and especially liked the kitchen cupboards and backsplash chosen. I was fascinated with their innovative ideas for both of the bathrooms and think all of the rooms coordinate well. The impressive lighting changes brought new life to the entire apartment. The renovation opened up areas and gave me a very spacious feeling. Accel communicated well both in person and by email and returned my calls very quickly. The finished product was astonishing and I couldn't wait to show it off. Accel was very professional and I highly recommend this company.

Fantastic Experience in working with Accel Construction. We had them renovate three of our bathrooms and re-tiled our ground floor.

I met the Accel partners several years ago when the contractor I had lined up to replace my garden shed was too busy for the job and recommended Chad & Brad. Although it was a simple shed, the work was completed quickly and was terrific. Several more projects, with the same results, happened over the years so when it came time to renovate 50% of our house the choice was easy. Accel.
