Some large companies will try and do these repairs with localized surface patches. These do not work. Here's why, When you have a concrete wall with a crack in it, it becomes two huge masses of concrete that may continue to settle slightly or move slightly with changes in season. Putting a hard surface patch on the crack of these masses of concrete will only crack again.
We inject a "Hydrophilic Poly-Urethane" into the crack. The preparation process involves drilling 1/4" holes through the crack to ensure the polyurethane gets to the outside of your foundation and fills any voids between the soil and foundation. We inject the entire depth of the crack from top to bottom. This material migrates into the crack as a liquid and sets up in 3 to 5 minutes as rubbery gel foam that remains flexible. So if your foundation moves slightly, the poly-urethane remains sealed. This is the most effective method of Foundation Wall crack repair available!
