After noticing that our wood deck needed replacement, my partner & I had a positive experience working with Ricklyn Renos on a site visit and cost estimate. Rick was a good communicator who made it easy to schedule an appointment for the on-site visit and arrived on time. He also provided a detailed cost estimate within 1 or 2 business days which was competitively priced. We eventually decided that we wanted to remain with an entirely wood deck, but I would easily recommend Ricklyn Renos for anyone considering vinyl deck repairs or replacement.

We hired Ricklyn Renos to cover our deck with vinyl. They did such an amazing job - the deck was done to perfection! Rick was so easy to work with- personable, professional, patient, kind, and thoughtful. We then hired him to update a bathroom and then then renovate our house with an addition, converting a carport into a great room and our old deck into an ensuite for a new master suite. He and his crew dedicated months to our project and showed up each day until the job was complete. The quality of work is pristine and we are so happy that we chose him for our work. I would highly recommend Ricklyn Renos for both decking and renovation work.

We had them lay the duradeck on our deck last June, it went through the winter and it still looks awesome with no concerns. They are Very meticulous, the work and price was great! When we go to do any more renovations they will be the first we call!

Absolutely pristine job. Started on time finished on time. Cleaned up after himself. My wrap around deck in Naramata looks better now than it did when it was first installed after Rick finished resurfacing it. I tried calling Duradek and they never followed up with phone requests and quotes and warranties in spite of their promises. Two years I tried to get follow up. I gave up and a realtor recommended RickLyn Renos. My old deck now looks fabulous. I’m so happy I looked elsewhere for a vinyl covered deck. Very kind and professional contractor. I let him pick color saying I didn’t want dirt and bird droppings showing and he’s got a special finish you should ask him about which looks like concrete with clucks on it so stains look like the design. Very pleased. Just wish he did wallpaper too as Penticton is short on skilled craftsmen.

We employed Ricklyn Renos twice over the past three years. Rick put vinyl decking on our balcony and build a staircase from the balcony to our backyard, and he also put hardwood floors on the main level of our house (living and dining rooms, hallway, stairway, and three bedrooms). The work was done well and the prices were reasonable. He kept his word. He kept his schedules. He was pleasant and professional to deal with. For example, he suggested an alternative arrangement for the staircase that he built that worked much better than the design I had in mind. He discussed alternative patterns for the hardwood floors. He listened to what we wanted, and then made suggestions that were thoughtful and persuasive. We're very pleased with the work that he did for us.

Rick provides quick, quality and friendly service. He was very timely in his estimates and work completion. Rick is a very skilled handyman! He was also an excellent resource for other services in the area.

Ricklyn did two projects for us. A new vinyl covered deck, and an installation of travertine on an old fireplace.. We are pleased, and would hire Ricklyn again.
