We are positively delighted with the services provided by Riviere Rouge Renovations.

We recently undertook a $100,000 renovation of our Montreal condo, beginning with the complete gutting of 75% of the space, and ending several months later (slowed by the pandemic) with a brand new (open concept) kitchen, full master bathroom, powder room, laundry room, and office/gym, including all-new plumbing, painting and an upgraded electrical panel.

The workmanship throughout was meticulous, with painstaking attention to detail in even the smallest of tasks. Our standards were exacting, and they met or exceeded these in every case.

Of particular note was their willingness to work with us too adapt to our ever-changing requirements as the project evolved. They listened carefully to our wishes and offered creative and practical ways to make them happen. As a small example, the space available for our home gym was limited, so it was important to be able to use walls and ceiling structures to support various heavy equipment and to be able to handle extreme stresses. After listening to our needs, our workers designed and constructed built-in elements and wall/ceiling reinforcements that met these needs perfectly.

Our renovation was complex because our building is a Heritage site and so all work needed to conform to exacting historical standards. We were very happy with the way they handled their relationship with us and with our condo management. Communications were frequent, thorough and honest in the sense that they never over-promised and always provided realistic time and cost estimates.

In summary, we are very happy with all aspects of our experience with Riviere Rouge Renovations and highly recommend them to others who expect high quality and exceptional professionalism in their choice of construction companies.
