My Husband and I had a complete bathroom renovation with this company in November of 2018 (all new pipe lines and valves, new tub and shower, new toilet, new bathroom door, new vanity, new floors and drywall) THIS WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE RIGHT FROM THE START! (NOTE: I DID NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY DIRECTLY, THEY WERE SUB CONTRACTED BY THE COMPANY I CHOOSE TO DO OTHER HOME RENOVATIONS WHICH WERE GREAT BY THE WAY) Our bathroom renovation was a complete nightmare! They (Lee and his helper) were late practically everyday (did not get here till almost noon and left before five almost everyday and they were here almost a month, they left SO MANY cigarette butts all over our lawn even after I asked they to kindly put their butts in the can I provided for them, they left their tools lying around everywhere after they left for the day, I had to move them out of the way multiple times to even get down our hall at night, they did not take away the old materials, they left them pretty much almost in front of the entrance as that was where they were throwing them out the door and it ended up a frozen mess pile that the other company had to take away even though it was not their responsibility, it was Senior Home Safety's responsibility, complete lack of respect to homeowners. They put in a door that was not the right fit and the frame stuck out so far that I could not use my new vanity as they blocked all the drawers from opening, we could not get our washer and dryer back in the bathroom as they made the door to small and it doesn't close properly, you pretty much have to put force behind it to close it. We are already having problems with our new bathroom, all the caulking has come loose around the inside of the shower and tub, and along the bottom of the tub, the caulking has also come loose, they also replaced the floor and drywall in the bathroom. The drywall is already cracking at the top where they put the spackle, and they did not cover in the floor completly under the tub, they just sprayed a bunch of that foam spray under there now we have had frozen pipes 3 times this year, we NEVER had frozen pipes before with our old pipes and old floor until they came along and did this shoddy work because they left a big hole under the tub where they did not finish the floor properly, they just put the tub right over top of an unfinished floor. (NOTE: I ONLY KNEW THIS BECAUSE THE WALL BEHIND THE TUB WAS REMOVED AFTER THEY LEFT AND WE SEEN IT< THEY TRIED TO HIDE IT!) There are just to many complaints to list them all here, tried calling no response back yet, really don't won't them back here anyway, my husband and I are now going to have to fix these issues probably on our own dime because even if I did hear back from them I would not let them back into my house to touch anything! BOTTOM LINE< BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY< IF YOU HIRE THEM YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!!
Veteran Affairs hired this company to perform above service due to my disabilities resulting from 27 years military service and recommendation from an Occupational Therapist, the door was installed in Dec 2014. Since that time, the door has leaked and they have been back 5 times either to replace the door or re-caulk it. Their response each time would be to fix it and each time the leak continued. The time in between my calls and their response has been months always sugar coating with excuses each time. Even if it is a two hour trip, customer satisfaction should be a top priority. If taking a shower is all that is needed, fine. But who doesn't like to soak in a tub on occasion and this is not possible without having to wrap towels around the door, leaking on the floor potentially causing other problems.
I am totally dissatisfied not to mention what my wife thinks of it all. As a result of this totally unacceptable service, I have only one option left and that is to replace the whole tub at my own expense which I have taken steps to do so as soon as possible. This whole experience has been very frustrating as I am left to deal with a company who doesn't seem to know what they are doing. The words Fly By Night comes to mind for good reasons. Seniors beware.
