After our toddler had a fall, we called Dennis to come and babyproof our whole house. He assessed what needed to be done, inside and out, and we went ahead with his plans. Some of the gates were custom built and are great. I really appreciate the peace of mind and it's so much easier to have someone who knows what they're doing than sort through the myriad of babyproofing gadgets on your own. Highly recommended!

Company founder, Dennis Simon Pahanic, has been working in the field of renovation and maintenance for almost 20 years, starting with renovating a store front in Hamilton Ontario to open up an electronics boutique. Over the years he has been involved in many projects across Canada and the US ranging from a variety of homes and condos in Ontario and BC, and various commercial projects like Gorge Vale Golf Course in Victoria, the Oak Cove Hotel, as well as the restoration of the famed Fort Harrison Hotel, both in the Southern US, working with award winning designers, contractors and painters. In these projects he gained an understanding of basic construction technology and learned from the best how to do things right, and the consequences of doing them wrong, as well as the Art of balancing desire and budget without sacrificing aesthetics.
Also during these years, he worked as a professional musician and performer, as well as in Marketing and retail, ranging from electronics to educational tools and services, and learned the value of honest and genuine customer relations.
In the mid 1990s, he also apprenticed as a Technician in an electronics repair shop, then later on LCD and Plasma sets, and became proficient at trouble shooting a variety of situations.
And from this varied background and experiences, after settling in Vancouver BC to raise his family, Septipus was born as a part time service to pass on the skills he has learned over the years to younger tradesmen while also working on other creative and humanitarian projects.
