It is obvious that SJOC prides itself on being a company that strives to deliver an excellent product. We are very satisfied with the results! Throughout our whole renovation project, they provided excellent customer service and project management, working with care, respect, and great attention to detail. We were also extremely impressed with the skill and quality of work of the individual tradespeople and professionals that SJOC brought in to complete our renovation.

One week before the spring lockdown, our kitchen and dining room were demolished in anticipation of a major renovation on our main floor. We were in a panic. How would we manage during a pandemic? The SJOC team ensured that we managed with as little stress as possible in those difficult beginning days. We were sealed off completely from all the trades with plastic, zippered barriers. Our Foreman, Don, made sure we were kept safe the entire time by going over and above the call of duty relating to the safety requirements. During the next months, all efforts were made to keep our project moving along.

How did it all end? With an amazing renovation that we are enjoying every day, all day, 24/7! The SJOC team ensured that all workmanship was of the highest order. There were no surprises and no overcharges, quite unusual these days. The site was cleaned every day, trades observed best pandemic practices, our Project Manager answered our emails and calls promptly and efficiently. I don't think anyone could ask for more and we will certainly work with SJOC in the future!

We were neighbours for a SJOC build over the course of a year. Sean and his team were always very respectful and considerate of our needs as they juggled many sub trades using our shared alleyway. SJOC always keep us appropriately informed. It was a pleasure getting to know them.

I cannot recommend Sean highly enough. He is a committed and dedicated professional who took genuine interest in our projects. He has high standards personally and requires the same from his staff. His work is of the best quality. We had the work done two years ago and are very pleased with the calibre.

We recently hired SJOC Construction to do work on our house. We would not hesitate to recommend Sean to anyone. He responded quickly to all enquiries, either by phone or email. He was always friendly and professional, and oversaw all the tradespeople working on our house to make sure everything was done properly. At a late stage in our kitchen reno project, it was confirmed that the wall we were planning to remove was load bearing.

We needed a company that could provide structural remediation, remove the load bearing wall, AND get it all done in our existing timeline.

SJOC was that company.

From the initial meeting through completion of the project, Sean demonstrated a sound understanding of construction principles and innovative problem solving skills.

Sean was also able to provide solid solutions to all of the inevitable surprises that cropped up during his part of the project.

Sean showed a sense of urgency by always going the extra mile to ensure we adhered to our original timeline.

Sean also demonstrated his collaboration skills when working with the tradesmen on either 'side' of the SJOC piece of the project.

We were living in the rest of the house during the renovation. Sean and his teams were respectful of our property and showed care and consideration of our living environment by ensuring that the work site was thoroughly cleaned each day.

SJOC uses an online application to provide direct messaging between SJOC and the client as well as real time updates to timelines, invoices, etc. We found it very useful.

Our interior designer and contractors working on other aspects of the reno have commented on the quality of SJOC's work.

That quality and the SJOC price point made this a low stress, successful project.

Adding a new office to an existing, busy boxing gym can be a challenge--keeping the noise and dust down, limiting interruptions to classes and training, etc. These guys did a fantastic job. They were professional at all times, did amazing work, and brought the job in on time and on budget. I couldn't be more delighted with the result. I'd recommend SJOC highly.
