Im making this post to warn everyone in Alberta about a builder that calls himself Jason Constructions or skyview construction. (Jason hickey+1 (587) 594-6326). I payed him over $7000 to build my garage and pull the permit which he didnt do He took off and never finish the job.

Jason just blocked my number, stole my orders from rona and went MIA.

Do not trust this guys about anything. He lies like he breathes. Do not give him your money please just contact the police if you see him and inform me please.

Other people that were scammed as well contacted me to inform me that they went through the same thing I did.

Nobody deserves to go through what he put me through.

Hi Everyone, I just got scammed by this guy over building a garage....its been 5 days no show after I paid him $3000 deposit. Is there anyway we can file a case against this guy before he victimizes some other people?

Terrible, terrible! My deck slopes and wasnt built correctly. He kept promising to do repairs but never would show up. Do not trust Jason Hickey!

I was looking for a company to build my detached garage. I saw an ad in Kijiji. The company name was SkyView Construction. The company phone was 587-594-6326. The owner of the company (Mr. Jason Hickey) seemed to be nice and legitimate initially but he is really a liar and scammer. I met the company owner in person. We signed a contract for the detached garage. I gave him $3500 as a deposit. He said that he wants to finish the job in 2 weeks. He lied to me about when he was coming over and over and over. After almost 3 months, He hasn’t started to build our garage and hasn’t responded to my calls and emails. I know many people that he did the same scam.

Terrible experience. At first he seemed very nice but then stopped showing up to do the work and lied to me about when he was coming over and over and over. Unfortunately this caused my tenant to move into a construction zone and I was forced to hire someone else to finish. Stay clear if you want honesty and reliability.

This guy seems to be nice and legitimate initially but he is really a jerk. Not completing work at all. No response, tons of lies. don't loose your money over this guy. Totally worthless.

He need upfront money and advances while work going on, but never completes the job. I have started my garage work 4 month back and paid 7000 so far, but he haven't done a work worth of at least 2500 and no response. No permit pulled from the city. When I am asking the permit he said he will send it and its on my back deck. Lots of reason to not to work, like whether said it will rain tomorrow so I will not come tomorrow, but never showed up for last 2.5 months.

He has new number and several other company names: 587-594-6326. Final Touch Construction. Skyview Constructions. A and J Constructions. Al and Jason Constructions. Same guy. Don't waste your money, I have to ended up in Court to case a file on him.

Really a cheap guy.

I hired this individual to replace a roof/trusses on my garage. Jason Hickey did not apply for permits as agreed in the contract, I later during the job asked to see the valid approved permits he sent me a blurred out image of not approved permits and claimed they are valid.

I was later contacted by the city that the work Jason Hickey did wasn't only not approved but not up to code and had to be modified and fixed to code. Jason also did not have the two necessary contractors license at the time required by law when he wrote the contract.

Jason as well sub contracted a roofer to do the shingle on the garage and did not pay him, I ended up paying the roofer for Jason Hickey so the roofers would not put a contractors lien on the house.

The city has all this on file and can be proved in full with documents and pictures in hand.

Please read this and confirm as well as give serious consideration before hiring Jason.

I would fully recommend to anyone SkyView Construction. I hired them to lay down new hardwood flooring and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The service and work skills are top notch. Jason was exceptionally pleasant to deal with and very respectful of my home. I am so pleased with their work. Will definitely be hiring them again!
