We recently hired SM Construction for a complete bathroom renovation and couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Steve’s communication from quote to finish was excellent. He was receptive to our ideas and concerns, readily available to answer questions, and always kept us informed about the project’s status.

Steve was flexible in making adjustments and worked diligently, going above and beyond to complete the project. We were so thankful how accommodating he was to limit disruption to our schedules.

The workmanship is exceptional, every aspect of the reno was executed with meticulous attention to detail. It’s clear he takes great pride in his work and the end result exceeded our expectations.

We definitely recommend SM Construction and can’t wait to have them complete future projects in our home.

We hired Steve to complete a full gut of our outdated 1980's main floor bathroom. He is hardworking, meticulous and was patient with our last minute changes. He did an amazing job and we could not be happier. Thank you Steve!!

We hired Steve from SM Construction. He did a complete renovation including removing the tub and replacing it with a walk-in shower.

Steve listened to our ideas and what we wanted and carried out our requests. He was neat and cleaned up common areas at the end of each day. He was courteous and polite. Our dog also liked Steve, because he made sure to acknowledge our at the start of each day.

We are so happy with our new bathroom. We highly recommend Steve for any renovations.

Steve is amazing I found him 10 years ago in an advertisement and I hired him to do mu kitchen he did everything the cupboards, trim, some electrica, the paint; to this day I still get compliments on my kitchen. About five years ago I had him redo my mud room and basement bathroom which still looks amazing and I just recently had him update my upstairs bathroom new vanity, vent, wall switch etc. Overall I am so impressed with Steve's workmanship, he is professional and he is very neat and tidy. Whenever anything needs to be done in or around my home Steve is always my go to guy.

He executed the exact style and Design we were looking for from the beginning as well as suggesting new approaches that turned out great.

He was in constant communication and kept the house clean as he worked along the process from gutting the Bathroom to final touches.

I hired Steve from SM construction to do my powder room, which my retired dad (who is a red seal carpenter) wasn’t able to finish due to his back! Well we put Steve to the test with this powder room and he passed with flying colours!! We then moved on from there to a complete build and design of the basement with kitchen and my workout room! Steve did an amazing job on that we also decided to do our main kitchen, Steve helped redesign the kitchen with an island and all new flooring as well all new painting and backsplash and pot lights, and once he completed that we got him to do the entire house with the flooring and also remove the popcorn from the main floor and add pot lights throughout the house, and also - we got Steve to rebuild and redesign the master bathroom and closet, removing the walk-in closet to one large bathroom, he did an amazing job on everything in the house, it felt like he was there a very long time almost 8 months, as if he was part of the family, he was very pleasant to have around for all that time ! He would have everything blocked off to keep everything clean and dust free in every area he worked in, I eventually ran out of things for him to work on, I definitely recommend Steve to anyone who is looking for a new kitchen or bathroom, or anything else!

From the minute we met Steve we were instantly comfortable with his honest and straight forward approach to home renovation. Steve worked diligently to bring all of our ideas to life and worked hard to keep us on budget as promised. Steve was extremely professional as well as neat and tidy which was a bonus during the 8 week process. I would highly recommend Steve for any project you are thinking of undertaking. 5 stars.

Steve did our Bathroom Reno , doing an Excellent Job ,assisting with picking out material to co-ordinate. Job was finished on time,on budjet, & without disturbing other tenants . He was always patient with our concerns & requests.

We hired Steve to Reno our basement.

Our basement was half finished but outdated.

Steve worked with our vision for a new basement and made it look amazing once finished.

He fixed some old plumbing, put up new walls, dry walled the entire ceiling and updated our lighting. He also installed a brand new floor throughout entire basement.

Everything turned out great and we couldn’t be happier with our new basement!

He was tidy and professional throughout and a pleasure to deal with.

Overall our experience has been positive working with Steve and his staff - Ryan, Sean and Ryan. Steve is calm and easy to work with. Ryan and Sean are professional and did a good job overall with only minor hiccups that were addressed promptly.

Some minor things were perhaps done hastily if you are picky. Overall workmanship was very good however.

His quotes were reasonable although the materials cost was quite a bit more than originally estimated. In fairness, it needs to be mentioned that estimating the materials cost for the rebuild of the basement bathroom is challenging.

It has been a few months since the project and we are extremely happy with our bathrooms.
