Spencer Construction is a sole proprietorship started in January of 2010 by Andrew Spencer.

General Contracting

If you're building new or renovating and need someone capable to manage the project we can help you. We'll help you find a designer, come up with a budget, find estimates, hire trades, and supervise the work. In order to ensure quality workmanship, and proper cost management, we like to take a hands on approach by self performing the majority of the carpentry work including framing, roofing, concrete, and windows and doors. We service Winnipeg, and the surrounding area.

Roofing

With over 10 years of experience in the roofing industry, Spencer construction would be pleased to give you an estimate on your roofing project. When you call us, we'll come to your home to take measurements then we'll sit down with you and explain the various roofing products and show you samples. If you decide to go with us we'll work to get the job done to the highest of standards, and in a timely workmanlike fashion. We service Winnipeg, and the surrounding area.

Framing

The frame or structure of a house is usually constructed out of wood. When people assemble this structure they are said to be framing the house. If you need to change the frame, whether it's an addition, a change to the slope of the roof, or to move a door, we can help. Using plans or sketches that you provide, we'll take apart the existing structure and move/add/change it to however you like. We service Winnipeg, and the surrounding area.

History

Andrew has over 13 years of experience working in the construction industry, and has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba.

Andrew recently spent 4 years working for Canada's largest Commercial construction contractor PCL. Working as a field engineer, he was responsible for quantity tracking, quality control, surveying, trade coordination, and working with the clients and consultants.

He has worked on such major projects as the Manitoba Hydro downtown office, the new Winnipeg Water treatment plant, several bridges over the Winnipeg floodway, the Milner Ridge Correctional Center, and the Institute for Advanced Medicine at HSC.
