Square Corner Construction

We did contract with Thou Roeun owner in last September 2020 mine estimates came 12500$ and neighbour composite deck and fence came to 19000$ . He came with other guy and both had good review on trusted pro. He said he will finish job before winter . We agreed and he asked for 50% advance to buy material. We paid him cash and took his sign . He ordered only 20% material quoting price is high so he will start with some material and order as he go along work. He started in September last week and October mid week. He comes and go whenever. He said he has ongoing project about to finish then he will only concentrate on us. We were pretty easygoing with him. Then end of October he said do not worry even in winter he will continue when we start asking. No show in November December January we keep following him and he says it’s winter he will finish off soon as soon as weather allows. In February end when we really start chasing and asking he came up with back injury and told us he need times to recover and then he will continue. we waited until March mid then went to his office ,basically his home . No one answered s then he started ignoring us and then replied via text that he can not Continue as he has injury and he has no crew.we tried to resolve and offer him money more but to finish job and clear mess he left but even His crew told us directly they are no longer together as he is not paying them.

Please be aware before giving him any work . He might change company but His name is Thou Roeun . We will file complaint soon in consumer court . Currently we are in big mess and other contractor said he didn’t even followed city code for deck as he has to deal with his mess and start over. See photos how he left.

These guys built us a gorgeous deck around our semi-inground pool. They designed it so that it would look sleek while also serving in practicality by adding curving steps into a housing for our pool pump and filter and a raised planting bed at the front of the deck. Looks absolutely beautiful and our pool looks even more inviting during these hot summer days. I'll also add that they pulled through even during the COVID shutdowns and as we battled lumber shortages. Will definately be our go-to guys for future projects.

Thou and his crew were incredible! After contacting them, they came within a few days to survey and discuss the job we were looking for.

Our fence was completely built within 2 weeks of initial contact!

They were punctual, tidy and very personable! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done!

Once all the details were sorted out, the building schedule was impeccable. We are very satisfied with our deck from Square Corner Construction. The whole crew did a great job. Everyone was very thoughtful with the the design and the carpenters did a fantastic job with the build! I highly recommend them.

Thou was great, I would definately go with him again. He gave me exactly what i needed and exceeded expectations.
