I would highly recommend Deveral and his services. The quality of work is excellent as you can see by the photos. He took on the job as project manager and did much of the work himself. He is partnered with other trades people that share his same quality of work.

Amazing contractor. When we decided to take on renovating 2 bathrooms we knew we’d need help. Luckily we found Deverall (from this site) and upon meeting and discussing our project with him we knew he was the contractor for us. We’ve worked with other contractors on some other projects and were never truly satisfied and I can honestly say after Deverall he’s our guy for the future.

What was great

1) communication, very easy to talk to and discuss the project and ad-hoc requests

2) did what he said he’d do. Showed up on time, put floor protection down, cleaned up everyday

3) brought competent trades people for key jobs

4) Deverall does great quality work

5) stayed within budget

In a 3-star world of contractors, Deverall Egan from Square D Construction is the 5-star Jedi. I’ve hired alot of contractors in two countries, and Square D is at the top of the list. A great contractor is like an elite quarterback with a near impossible combination of intersecting skills, and Dev had it all. He communicated clearly and often. Worked efficient full days. Had lots of contacts in the industry. Had clear quotes and contracts that kept everyone at ease, and set expectations for success on both sides. He was polite, conscientious and easy to be around. And he was an absolute ninja at the fine finish details. We hired him to convert a bedroom in our 19th century farmhouse to a bathroom. And he was an artist at blending the period-friendly design and function we wanted. He followed our lead, but appropriately advised us when there were things we hadn’t fully considered. It is a pleasure to work with someone who is a Master at their trade and takes pride in the details. In retrospect, there were several opportunities to take even acceptable short-cuts, but he always took the highest-road possible and did it all right. Everybody has a categorical preference. I didn’t want a handyman or a newbie that could start tomorrow. But I also didn’t want a big Design firm with lots of employees, a showroom and lots of overhead or someone that was booking 8 months out. I just wanted one regular family guy who I could trust in my home, who had lots of experience, deep relationships in the trades, a premium trailer full for premium tools and who would take pride in implementing our vision. I got several bids for the project, and Square D was my clear choice. Our project came off completely as scheduled and priced, and its beautiful… the best room in our house. I would definitely hire Dev again. If you want a high-end result at an efficient price, Dev is your professional partner.
