Cornel is a professional tile setter who takes good care of his clients. He has installed four bathrooms, a shower, a hallway and a fireplace in about three weeks and has come up with good design suggestions and advice. He is punctual, very sociable and a pleasure to work with.

Awesome. Clear communication from the start. Cornel is a detail person and really is about doing the best possible job. Responded quickly to the first request for pricing and I had all the info I required to make a decision in less than a day. His cost wasn't the most expensive or the cheapest but the workmanship cannot be beat regardless of the price. You could pay more but you wouldn't get more. Cornel is respectful of you and your home and takes care to safe guard your property. He was efficient and accurate in setting the tile and helpful with his advice. He is a Professional and a craftsman. I would recommend him to my mother and not worry about the result. He quoted a price that included everything required and that was the price. So I fully recommend Steopan.

From our first meeting, I felt very comfortable with and confident in Cornel. He is a kind and communicative man with a passion for completing the job to the best of his ability. Cornel responded very quickly to all calls and texts; even without much renovation experience, I felt heard and listened to. Intuitive too, Cornel checked with a plumber and home inspector before starting my particular project, to ensure we would not run into roadblocks. Indeed changes to our plans had to be made but Cornel walked me through every step in the contracting phase. The tiling he did in my alcove bathroom is beautiful; this is obviously his forte. Cornel got the whole alcove tub tiling removed, rebuilt and retiled, with a new toilet installed, in just 4.5 days. He works very hard but stays positive and takes pride in his work. I’d hire him again and I’ve already referred him to family and friends! Thank you Cornel.

Steopan Remodelling was great to work with. The installation was quick, quality was good, and provided value for money.

Cornel did a great job with our fireplace. As you can see from the photos, he took a very large and intrusive fireplace and, with our design, turned it into a minimal, understated and beautiful fireplace. He's a very good communicator and is upfront about everything.

One thing he excels at is providing advice and input when needed. We'd never done something like a fireplace remodel, so his advice and input was key for the success of the project. Turned out the fireplace insert wasn't level and he worked his magic and was able to finish the project without us having to spend a few thousand bucks on having a fireplace technician come to level it out. Since doing the work, I've been in touch with Cornel to seek advice on other tiling work and he's come over to give me a hand with smaller jobs when he's in the area - jobs that other people would refuse because they're not 'big' enough. Overall we are very happy with the fireplace and with Cornel and would recommend him for any of your tiling needs.

It was our great pleasure to have Cornel complete the installation of our tile shower. As a installer, he was very professional, punctual and knowledgeable with any question or concern I had. His eye for detail, his intricate and seamless cuts we can definitely say we are extremely satisfied! We were able to witness first- hand uncompromised quality of work and a beautiful functional design.

Cornel just finished tiling our fireplace. Cornel showed up exactly on time each of the 4 days it took to complete the task. His motto is I’m not perfect however I will do a very good job for you and that sums it up. I did the framing myself and completed the floor prep and drywall. It was decent but also not perfect. Cornel did a good job of covering up my imperfections. He is very hard working and did an excellent job at preparation and cleanup ensuring drop sheets covered everything. The tile work was very good keeping to his motto of very good but not perfect. Would I use him again and recommend him. Absolutely!!

We hired Cornel as the main contractor to do a major remodeling project for our house and we are extremely happy with the final result. He removed some of the old walls transforming our main living space in a very nice open space area. He also did the drywall work and flattened the popcorn ceilings throughout the entire house. He also installed travertine tiles in the entryway and ledgestone on our new fireplace.

Cornel is a very experienced hard working contractor, he was always on time, worked very hard, and the quality of his work is excellent.
