Kris has done several jobs for us from bathroom renovations, installing laminate flooring to building fences. He is our go to guy for any work we need done. He is competitive price wise and get the job done on time.

Kris was extremely professional and did wonderful work on our bathroom. Bathroom has some plumbing changes which he completed without error. We are very happy with the tile work and the craftsmanship. Would recommend to others.

I had Kris and others quote on taking down my existing fence and replace it with a pressure treated privacy fence. Kris responded the same day and was the best price. He showed up when he said he would and completed the job in the same week. I was very happy with the workmanship and professional way he handled himself. He removed all of the debris as promised. Kris completely renovated my narrow, old bathroom in my 1930s home, and I love it. He did an excellent job. He was able to maintain a couple of things for a vintage look and I consulted with him about the choice of tile for the floor and surround, and materials. He was so helpful and knowledgeable. He is reasonably priced, reliable, efficient, and clean - he cleaned every day and while he was working. I will definitely have him do more work for when I get around to the basement!

I’m very glad I was persistent in looking for a general contractor as Kris was good enough to reply to my first email looking for a quote and was gracious enough to provide it; even though he advised he wouldn’t be able to start the work for approximately 3-4 months. He contacted me and stayed in touch closer to the given start date; was punctual, got right to work and kept me informed during the process. He completed everything on time and left the work area as clean and tidy as possible.

I am already in the process of scheduling another job with him-he’ll be installing a new deck in my backyard and I’m looking forward to more great work!

Kris did a great job fixing up our downstairs powder room. We had a leak in our upstairs bathroom that damaged the ceiling of our downstairs bathroom. We needed someone to replace all the ceiling drywall, fix damaged spots on the walls, and replace the toilet and ceiling fan while they were at it. Even though the job wasn't the biggest, Kris was willing to take it on and did a speedy and thorough job. He arrived each day when he said he would, did a careful job, and stuck to his quoted price despite having to fix a few unexpected things. I will definitely call Kris again for other renovations.

Kris is very skilled and does excellent work I would highly recommend kris for any home renovation whether it be a indoor project or outdoor project straight line is the way to go.

We hired Kris of Straightline Renovations because he was the only contractor that came in and gave us design ideas that made complete sense for the space. We have an old farmhouse and the bathroom was a disgust with a layout that made no sense and was completely dysfunctional. Kris really knows what he is doing and spent the time to ensure each phase of the project was completed meticulously. His tile work, design and installation is beautiful. It is obvious that Kris is a true craftsman and takes pride in his work! Although the project started a couple days late (which is to be expected in construction), the job was completed on time and on budget according to estimate. I must say I wasn't thrilled with having to go out and source materials but this is the only way you can get what you want. We trusted Kris with the keys to the house and would do so anytime. Not only did he complete the project he was hired for, he also fixed a plumbing drainage issue created by a previous contractor we hired to do the kitchen. There was a minor call-back issue but Kris was quick to respond to rectify the issue. As a result of our excellent experience with Kris, we also hired him to install a laundry sink/cabinet, rough in the laundry plumbing, install baseboards everywhere else and lay tile in the entranceway. Everything was completed beautifully and we would not hesitate to highly recommend him.

Kris was great to work with if you have a project in ur house to do, reasonable pricing and very helpful information if he needs something he gives you enough notice and give you the best honest opinions and options, will be getting him back to our house for a few more project!!

Kris built our bathroom from the studs out. All the work was done in a timely manner, clean and on budget. The ceramic was very good, straight lines and precise. The plumbing is leak free and all in good working order. What makes Kris professional is that he returns his calls, keeps you informed on how things are going and is always willing to help ensure the project goes smoothly. I am a happy repeat customer.

Kris built us a lovely deck in our backyard. 22 x 16 with a grand staircase and a louvered privacy wall. I would recommend Kris.

First off I like to comment on how professional Kris is. He set appointment times that were convenient for me and was on time if not early for them. Kris came in under budget and build me a sturdy, great looking fence and gate that is definitely going to last. Then Kris went above and beyond. As it turns out the gate that we both thought, would be large enough to fit a neighbors riding mower through to assist me in cutting my back lawn was not. Once we had found what was done would not work for me Kris later returned. He then turned part of the front fence area into a double gate creating a solution for my problem. Not only did he just charge me cost for the hardware to create the second gate he did not charge me one penny for the extra two hours labour it took him to add the second gate in. I have every intention on his and Kris next summer to complete the remainder of my fence work and also looking to get a quote on a bathroom in a finished basement I’m currently working on. Kris charges reasonable rates for exceptional work!

My bathroom is beautiful! Kris does quality work. Was there at the time he said he would be everyday. Kris was very particular you can tell he takes pride in his work. I would highly recommend him and would use him again.

I am very pleased with the work Kris completed for me in my kitchen and two bathrooms. I have a historic home, so it was important to me that the renovations tied in with its character. He installed my cabinets, countertops, sink, flooring, drywall, plumbing, shower, tile, and even relocated the original claw tub from the main bathroom, to my master ensuite. Kris is very hardworking, trustworthy, reliable, and fair with his prices. I appreciated his suggestions and attention to detail. We were very happy with the service we received from Straightline Renovations. Very professional, punctual, clean and with a lot of attention to detail. He gave us great suggestions and also listened. We had a very old washroom with a bathtub and he turned it into a modern, clean line washroom with new floor, tiling, shower with glass door, etc. He also redid the walls in the washroom and most important all the plumbing.

I am happy that I choose Straightline Renovation and Repairs to do our renovations and Fence.

Kris provided very fast feedbacks during the estimate and quoting period. He is trustable and helpful. If anything he could not do or do not have enough time to finish, he will tell you ahead. For example, he told me when he did estimate for our renovation that he will not repair any electric issues. However, he could help me contact a qualified electrician to fix those issues.

He is self-disciplined. During the renovation period for our house, Kris came at 8 am every day. If he got some other appointments, he notified me ahead.

He is very hard-working as well. If he could not complete his plan of the day, he would work on it until he finished up. We were very pleased about his work quality. I believe the price was reasonable with his premium quality!

I am very satisfied with my experiences with Straightline. Kris built a shower and tiled over a very difficult floor. He continued the tile up the stairs and into the mudroom. The work was well thought out and carefully done. I had Kris back to help renovate the kitchen. Demolition, drywall, and tile the floor and stairs. Another job well done. Kris is honest and his prices are fair.

I hired Kris, Straightline Renovations and Repairs about five years ago for a main bathroom remodel. Since then, the work has ascended to completing other rooms in my homes, decks and fencing as well as any referrals I have given out to others. For the last five years Kris' work has been professional, efficient and all the while keeping me within the budget I felt comfortable with.

The house is 1950's complete with that era fixtures and fittings. In the bathroom Kris replaced the vanity and toilet, and installed a storage cabinet. He also removed and replaced the ceramic floor tiles and all the trim and finished by painting the whole bathroom.

The plumbing entailed removing parts of the original cast iron and copper piping and reconnecting with updated fittings.

Kris also replaced all closet and room doors on the three bedroomed main floor, and painted these.

An excellent tradesman that takes pride in his work. He responded with an estimate in a timely manner, and stayed on budget.

He is always prompt and gives you an arrival time. If he is going to be delayed he phones to advise.

I am totally impressed with Kris's skill and abilities. There were several nasty surprises uncovered in the reno process but Kris handled everything with calm efficiency. The work is top notch. He is a true professional. I am a high strung, nervous person and was dreading overseeing the project but a testament to Kris's skill and demeanor is how calm I was through it all. And I couldn't be happier with the final result.

We have used Kris' services for the last 9 or 10 years.

During this time, he has completely redone a washroom, our rec room as well as our kitchen. We have already hired him to re-do our laundry room.

In each case, my wife and I have been more than happy with the results and have no hesitation in recommending him to family and friends.

My home was built in 1923. I removed many layers of wallpaper in the livingroom and discovered the walls were a mess. I hired Kris to replace, with drywall. 2 plaster walls and a ceiling, and repair the other 2 plaster walls in my livingroom. There were many cracks, holes and crumbling plaster, and nothing was square. The work made the walls straight and smooth and ready for paint---beautiful job. Kris removed, with care, and re-installed all the original trim and woodwork, He kept everything very clean and tidy. The work was done exactly how we discussed and it was finished in the time he quoted. I am very, very pleased with his work. So much so I am hiring him to renovate my bathroom.

I am extremely satisfied with the work done in the renovation of my bathroom. Kris did a complete gut of the existing bathroom as well as removing an unused attic staircase to gain more square footage. A very big job! And the end result is amazing-all new plumbing, walls, doors, ceiling, flooring and all fixtures. The tile work is lovely with inlay accent. All work was done on schedule and as quoted. Kris took away all debris and left everything neat and tidy. After all was completed there was a very small plumbing concern which was addressed immediately. This is the third job I have had done by Kris and I highly recommend Straightline Renovations.
