We really like the deck roof Stronghold put in. But the gutter system they attached has some places the water leaks out plus the roof itself leaks in 3 places along the line where it attaches to our house roof. We've had this deck roof for 8 years now and after 7 years they did come out to look at the problem and said they would come back to fix it only after the weather had been without rain for a week. But when we called after a week of sun they said they would have to come later in the month because they were too busy with new decks and roofs. So far they have never fixed the problem. We still hope they will.

These guys were very friendly, polite and professional. They did the railing around my wrap around deck and installed a patio cover over the side and rear of the house. They always cleaned up after they were finished the job and did a few extras without any additional charge. I would recommend them without hesitation.

These guys installed the railing on my deck this past summer, (80 ft long, slate tile).

1. Initially they were very polite and the quote came back very good.

2. I gave them the deposit, told him that it would need to be installed in about 2 weeks. Unfortunately there was a delay due to the rain (because the tile could not be installed on the deck).

3. They came back 1 month later to install - but they had the wrong length on one side. That had to be re-made, I was understanding about this because I made them wait 1 month and things can be misplaced after so long.

4. This is where things get worse - they eyeballed all of the railing placements. The distance between posts and the railing pillars was inconsistent everywhere. When I confronted him about it, he began to yell at me. Telling me I should have told him before what I wanted! Am I supposed to watch over his shoulder and tell a 'professional' how to install it? It should have been common sense. On top of that, he threatened to take out the entire railing and give me my deposit back, (which was no longer and option because he had drilled for half of the railing already).

5. After install, I noticed that a few pieces of glass had faults in it, he replaced some but others I only found after he had left and received full payment. I did not contact him further about this.
