I was charged a lot of money to paint my kitchen and hallway and ceiling. They did an OK job but they seemed rushed to finish it. They forgot about one wall and had to stay longer to finish it. When it was time to clean up the brushes, they did it outside and got paint all over my deck and my vehicle. We emailed them and they made no restitution for the damage they caused.

We came across student works at the home show. A student (the owner) came over and gave us a quote. It was quite high but he explained that they do excellent work and they had no competition so this would be my best price. He stated that he required a deposit to secure the job and that the work should be done before the May long weekend. Days later I get a knock at my door and it was another student (College Pro Painters) who offered to provide us with a free quote. We agreed as we had no idea another company was established in Sudbury. The quote was substantially less. I called up the owner of Student works and explained that I felt deceived as he had specifically indicated that he had "no competition". He offered to provide me my deposit back and said that he was so busy it wouldn't be a problem. He stated that I would receive a cheque in the mail. Several weeks passed and no cheque. I called twice and left messages but not response.
I would not recommend using this company.
