I have an incredible finish on my floor 2 YEARS after they were refinished by Summit. My floor is Canadian red oak and looks better by far than when it was originally finished 15 years ago. We have cats and grandkids with no effect on this finish. Nothing but good coming from Summit and are just in negotiation to have our basement carpet all taken out with Summit and replaced by the richness of wood. Highly recommended, very knowledgable about expectations and wouldn't try to pull one over on you.

I just wanted to express and warn any potential customers of a recent experience I have had with Summit hardwood.
We had our hardwood floors refinished with a product that was recommended by David and supposedly a commercial grade product, however after a month the scratches and scuffs were so excessive I felt I had to contact David. I made him aware of our complete dissatisfaction of the durability of the finish on our hardwood he simply gave me an explanation of how our hardwood was a softer wood and that's why this wear was taking place ,then I proceeded to tell him that in a few months my floor looks worse with the summit finish than 6 full years of use with the original finish! He basically walked away with no care for a consumers comments or dissatisfaction. I would not recommend this company for any services considering the terrible product service and warranty!
