I would highly recommend Syd’s Flooring. I had my main level hardwood floors refinished and they look beautiful! There was little dust and, as advised by Syd, the odour is minimal (similar to when one paints).

Syd provided all the information we needed about himself and his product. His system is very nearly free of dust, just as he said it would be.

Aside from doing a nice job on the floors, Syd did a good job of sanding and refinishing the stairway post and railings to match the floor.

Syd's work was first rate. My floors are the original oak, and the finish was severely scratched and worn down. He and his colleague brought them back to life: on schedule and on budget. Syd sanded and refinished our floors while we were out of town for a few days. We left old, worn, and doggie damaged hardwood and came home to clean, bright and well sealed floored. They even filled in the old cable and wire holes that we inherited in our older home. Syd was able to give a very fair quote and payment was easy through e-transfer. We were warned about the amount of dust generated by floor refinishing, but it was negligible. Overall a very well done, clean and professional job.

I was very satisfied with the work that Syd and Luc did refinishing my 40 year old pine floors. The work was done on time, on estimate and with very little dust. The transitions installed at the room entries provide the professional look I had requested. The finish is supposed to stand up to dogs and I trust that this will be the case. I would recommend Syd's Flooring to anyone who needs their floors refinished. It was a pleasure working with both gentlemen.
