Teaka Carpentry did an excellent job. Because it was a basement bathroom with lower ceilings, it was a more challenging renovation. We are thrilled with the final result and it exceeded our expectations. We would rehire Teaka Carpentry without hesitation for another project.

From quote to completion, Derrick far exceeded my expectations. His honesty, work ethic and talent made this project a completely stress free experience! We found Derrick to be not only friendly, but also very professional. He designed and then redesigned our front deck after we had asked for it to be made larger than originally planned. Once he started the project, he stayed with it until completely finished. Derrick would check in with us throughout the project to make sure that we were happy with the project and welcomed any questions we had along the way. He hit an unexpected complication with our project, but worked it out without hesitation. His pricing is very fair and the final project is excellent!

We are totally in love with the deck that Derrick built us. We sat down together for a consultation and he listened to our vision and built us everything we discussed and more. He offered his expertise and suggested extra features to make it unique and trendy and finished within the timeline he committed to. We couldn't be happier with our new deck and pavilion. It's like we have another room on our house...our company who sees it for the first time are more than impressed with the carpentry work and design.

I learned how to build a house starting from the footings and ending with the last nail in the trim. I relocated from the Ottawa Valley to Brantford, Ontario nearly nine years ago. During those years, I led an exterior renovation crew for a local company in Brantford. My interest in the wider scope of carpentry subsequently led me to work as a lead hand for a decking and renovation company in Ancaster. I also pursued my Residential Design and Construction Certificate, giving me procedural knowledge of quality work in subtrades. My interest in family, passion and knowledge for carpentry, along with my drive to succeed prompted my family and I to embark on the TeaKa adventure. At TeaKa, your ideas and opinions are embraced.
