I paid 75k of 77 owing. He walk from the job, left me no hydro no pluming no vanities no titles no door hardware. Did not pay sub trades.
He is the guy you make home renovation tv shows about.
He should stick to building decks and picnic tables.
I should of check reviews. NO real reviews in almost 4 years.
i serviced [paid] every line item in his estimate plus extras. He was wanting an extra 9k for no product or service.
I am being quite sincere in this review and kind of feel a bit sorry for him.
My lawyer won't feel the same.

Mike was hired to completely refurbish my old cottage cabin. He changed windows, installed a patio door where there wasn't one, put up pine on the ceiling and walls, installed a kitchen and laid flooring throughout the cabin.
His work show-cased his attention to detail and precision. He is a skilled contractor that was prompt and on time; always reliable.
His price was accurate and fair; there were no hidden costs or financial surprises.
Mike is a very competent, reliable and personable contractor that I would recommend to anyone seeking to have construction work completed that is done on time and well.

Mike and his crew removed an old decaying deck at the rear of our home in Aurora and replaced it with a fantastic composite deck. Glass in the railings vs Pickets are great as we back on to a forest. Workmanship was unmatched and all work performed on time. His crew were friendly and extremely precise in their details. Would definitely hire them for any renovations around our home in the future.

Mike and his team did an excellent job on the construction of my deck and Laundry room.
Mike allowed me to make my own mark on the deck while keeping me on budget and focused on the end goal.. a beautiful deck done simply yet elegant!
He gave excellent suggestions on my laundry room backsplash and made it again my own. He worked hard to get the counter top I wanted and tied in every detail including matching caulking!
He makes himself available for questions, concerns, and advice and offers a cheerful greeting every time. I would am a repeat consumer because of his great work and dedication to the job.

Mike and his staff did an amazing job modernizing our bathroom beyond our expectations. My wife and I are very pleased with the workmanship, knowledge, professionalism and honesty demonstrated throughput the whole process. We would highly recommend Art of Construction. We plan on using them in renovating our 2nd bathroom in the Spring.

We built a new cottage, Mike handled all interior construction including all trim, hardwood floors, Shiplap wall systems, bathroom tiling and shower construction, all doors (barn doors as well) kitchen backsplash and barn board ceilings and accent walls. He did a fantastic job!

This is the second time I used Art of Construction for their services. I called Mike to help me complete a major renovation at my rental property. This included installing flooring, trim and doors, trimming of windows and more. His team did a great job and would definitely continue to use his services.

Mike and his team were awesome. Right from first meeting him, he was on time, polite and courteous, took time to explain the process and addressed any upfront questions we had like being on time on budget - he definitely managed my expectations which are high. Both were big jobs and he and his team made the construction zone to a minimal and both jobs were done on time - actually the kitchen earlier then expected. This does not mean that any attention to detail was lost. Mike is a perfectionist and takes great pride is his work.
His team made the extra effort to keep our house as clean as possible, covering surrounding areas and furniture, etc.. At the end of each day everything was cleaned up as best as possible. We look forward to the next project and would and would be willing to speak to any future clients.
