Harley Horne operating under the name Harlee Contracting /owner of this company came to Fort McMurray to do business after the 2016 Wildfire. We hired him to replace our insulation. He told us that free of charge he put extra insulation in. In the winter our attic began to rain water down onto our ceilings. Upon inspection we noted extensive ice damning. We hired professionals to consult only to find out that there was areas where there was no insulation at all. It was short 25 bags of insulation. Also they did not remove all the smoke affected insulation. Instead they covered it up with new leaving us living in a contaminated home. We wanted to give Harley the benefit of the doubt that maybe one of his employees did this shoddy job and he wasn’t aware. We contacted him under good terms and he agreed to pay the bill to have this rectified as he is no longer in town. The bill was $3,300 and that does not include the required ceiling repairs. No payment has been forthcoming and he has left us on the hook for these bills. He has blocked all our numbers and simply does not respond to messages, emails or texts. BEWARE and do not use him for any job.
