I liked very much job that Tom completed at my house. Very knowledgeable and responsible professional. One of those who actually turn around, look what they have done and made sure that job was completed to his satisfaction and what is more important, certainly to my satisfaction. I had sewage back up and pipe replaced in my basement and the existing laminate floor had to be replaced, with boards removed and re-installed. The whole area, including most of the basement area, stairway from kitchen to basement, and kitchen itself needed to be re-plastered and re-painted. In addition, kitchen needed to be partially refurbished, with new kitchen door and sink installation. Painting may have taken a little bit longer than expected, by considering that there were so many angles, corners, and small areas that needed to be covered I am happy with the outcome. In this case I prefer good work over timeliness.

Construction business is not what I do, but being very handy, when I have time, some work around the house I do myself. When it comes to quality of work I do not tolerate superficial and/or unprofessional work.

I would gladly recommend Tom to anyone who wants real value for their money.

As a mechanical contractor having a positive relationship with a knowledgeable general contractor is key for a successful, sustainable working relationship in which all parties involved including client will be happy with not only end results but the process its self. Tom and his team are organized and detail oriented; they care and take pride in workmanship, they treat sub trades with respect and they ensure timeline and duration of projects are met. We hired Tom to undertake major renovations in our new home in the Beaches. At our previous home we worked with very experienced contractors who have been in business for a long time who we contacted regarding our current project. However as we reviewed their proposals our conversations kept coming back to Tom and how impressed we were with the quality of work he completed on a smaller project for us and the raw talent we saw displayed which we felt was destined for bigger things. We decided to engage him to update both the interior and exterior of our home and are very glad we saw his long-term potential. He has far surpassed our expectations, providing timelines that he achieves and lists of deliverables including pricing that he reviews with us regularly. When our requirements change or expand he is able to quickly shift gears and provide the revised outcome. We have also been impressed with the sub-contractors he has engaged for tiling, drywalling, painting, plumbing and electrical. In fact we have commented that the quality of their work is better than we are used to. Tom is great to deal with and we would not hesitate to recommend or engage him again.

After working in the construction industry as a Project Manager and Building Inspector for over 15 years I have been through hundreds of construction projects and have seen it all- some good, some bad, and some ugly. Finding a reliable and knowledgeable contractor I can trust wasn't easy but I can honestly say I had a great experience with Tom because he was easy to deal with and he takes pride in his work. His estimates/proposals are detailed and explain exactly what's included in the scope of work, and a breakdown of costs so the Client understands exactly what they are purchasing - I can't stress enough to people who are hiring a contractor how important that is. Tom did a couple project for me including building a complete basement apartment and doing demolition, insulation, drywall, and carpentry work for an addition. What I liked was that he could adapt quickly to changes/surprises during the project and never took advantage of extra costs. Also, he does not take on too many projects at once so he was always able to give my project the attention I expected. Tom also introduced me to other reliable subcontractors and suppliers who I can a great experience with. Don't be fooled by other salesman contractors who promise the world, give Tom a try and you'll be impressed.
