Chris's wife Shelly quoted a fair and reasonable price, (they were the middle of three we received). It took a while for us both to get together on start dates, and when Chris began he ran into a few personal problems, one being a car accident where he hurt his back, which meant the project took longer than we expected. Having said that the job was completed in a very professional manner, and to offset the time frame concerns, Chris and Shelly paid for the new faucets and shower head that we had installed. Chris also said the work came with a guarantee and that he would stop by to fix any problems when in the area.
All in all a job well done, and we would certainly use Tooley's again, and recommend them to others. I will also state that I will use your Handyman site in the future for any other repairs and renovations I can't handle.

I was very excited in the beginning of the project, lots of good communication, however as soon as they hit a snag the communication became an issue, and timeliness even a bigger issue
overall good start, took longer than expected, and as much as I insisted that the finish is just as important as the start, they failed miserably with a very poor finish

Chris finished our basement in 2009 and we couldn't be happier with it. He did quality work and was it completed on budget (or slightly under if I remember correctly). He answered all our questions and offered good advice on the design of the basement when we asked his opinion. We would certainly hire Chris again.

Chris has done a great job on all the projects that he has done for our home. He was open to suggestions made by us and with suggestions of his own when problems &/or difficulties occured. I also appreciate his honesty.
He is always respectful of the people in our home and for our property. I will continue to use his services for any future projects.
