My husband and I purchased carpet and flooring from West Valley on two occasions, first for the basement in 2019 and then the matching carpet and flooring for the upper floor which was installed last month. We had a good experience in 2019 but the most recent experience has been horrible. Terrible customer service, dishonest sales tactics, rude and completely apathetic to the customer. We had plans to have them come in and do tile and hardwood on our main floor in the spring 2022, but we will not be dealing with this company again and we would not recommend Mohawk products, they are sold as a premium product but do not hold up as they claim. See the attached pictures of our carpet, one from 2019 compared to the new. We purchased this carpet and the required underlay at a huge price increase and they will not cover it under their "25 year warranty".

West Valley replaced my hardwood floors to engineered hardwood on the main floor of my bungalow and replaced the carpet in my basement. I highly recommend West Valley Carpet and Flooring. They are very professional and the installers did a tremendous job. We ran into a few problems on the main floor but the installer knew how to correct these and did not rush the rest of the installation because of them.

West Valley Flooring did an insurance job for me which was very satisfactorily settled by Derek, so I approached him with a request to repair hardwood flooring that had been ruined by terrible contractors. Repairing someone else’s work is thankless and there was no obligation to do the work, but Derek said he would. It appeared that a colored, dulling substance had been applied to the new floors marring the surface. After four days of experimenting, Lewie, the workman in charge, determined that the only solution was to remove the surface and refinish the floors. The cost was very reasonable, the result was beautiful, and they wouldn’t charge me for the time spent finding a solution. I am so impressed by the commitment to making me happy, the professionalism and quality work. This is an old-fashioned, European craftsman approach to flooring and I would use Derek and his crew again in a heartbeat.

The salesman was very professional and informative. The workers were very clean and pleasant. We had a wait for some more material to be brought in to finish the job but it was done quickly when it arrived. I would recommend this company.
