I called Anthony to investigate wiring problems created by previous contractor. He quickly identified the electrical issues and upgraded our panel and outlets that were improperly wired and not to code. Very reasonable on costs and a very knowledgable professional. Highly recommended.
We had contracted Anthony Beckles (or Anthony Licorice).
At first it started great with a few tasks given such as changing a few potlights , installing washroom lights and more. It became a whole house wiring from potlights , entire kitchen ( for 2 floors) , and more. We took out permits to have this done.
As the jobs progressed, anthony work ethic and employees became clear that they could not complete or, were capable of completing this job ethically and responsibly. We had paid for 95% of the jobs but only had 70% completed.
We noticed Anthony was contracting jobs out to other companies to finish and had his apprentice do majority of the work as he was off site or attending another job. His apprentice would show up to work smelling like alcohol and this was major concern to us as we had our hands tied with anthony and at the mercy of him and his company.
I then read a review ( just below) from an honest couple from Oakville Melissa that gave Anthony a 1 star and read through the comments. It was exactly the experience I was getting. Anthony would not show up, miss appointments when to come, the excuses started amounting to finger pointing to other contractors for why he couldn't finish or why he needed to charge more. An example was putting in potlights. His apprentice wired them and he had no clue where the lights where so they started cutting random holes in the ceiling . It looks like Swiss cheese in my ceiling and I had to pay for the drywall work to be patched over.
We had so much work left and had paid Anthony over $11,000 ( majority in advance). Anthony had a long list of work to do and demanded we pay the remaining $3000 or else he would walk off the job. We had agreed for him to come in on his own to put in potlights and finish the remaining work.
What I came back to was something no home owner has to experience in their life. Anthony did come back in , but not out to finish the job. He ripped out all potlights installed and cause serious drywall damage in doing so. He took back outdoor lights we paid for and all the pot lights In the entire house.
We had just been robbed by our electrician and he caused damage to our house. We called him and told him we would take him to court if he did not return, settle this ordeal etc. Last message we got form Anthony was he wanted to consult his lawyer. Then we never heard back.
We were shocked this has happened and had our hands tied financially, and our job was set back to finish. We called police but they could not do anything because we previously contracted him. We considered small claims court, but by looking at How anthony ran his business, his one questionable employee ,and anthony demeanour as a person later on - we did not want to get drawn out Into a Costly small claims court Battle, which would do us no good.
AVOID ANTHONY and WIRELESS SOLUTION!! DO NOT PAY UNTIL JOB IS DONE!
To top it off, all the work they did was wrong and we had to hire an electrician to fix his work. How do people like him get licenses?
The house was sold and I only felt safe to write a review now as knowing anthony is capable of breaking and entering a house, we felt threaten he would come back.
BEWARE ALL HOMEOWNERS. OF ANTHONY BECKLES AKA ANTHONY LICORICE residence of Mississauga and owner of WIREWORKS SOLUTION .
Recently hired Anthony for the electrical work in my kitchen renovation. I was very happy with the professional service he provided, his knowledge and experience was just what my renovation on a budget needed. He provided prompt, fast, and friendly electrical service at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Anthony!!
Anthony came by as soon as contacted and did a thorough job inspection. He replaced a few receptacles which were necessary for the approval. He also pick out a few differences in the new electrical that was performed by the other team. Anthony was very professional and very reasonable.
I have been a general contractor my self for around 30 years and have a bit of knowledge dealing with electricians.
I would recommend Anthony to anyone who would like a good job done at a reasonable price.
Thanks Anthony!
Thank you very much Francis for the wonderful review. It was a pleasure doing the electrical for you.
Anytime.

Anthony Beckles did an excellent job for so many reasons at our home on Shadyglen Drive. He called within a half hour of our request then came the same day. He made wonderful suggestions for the work that needed to be done. He was fast, efficient and very very reasonable. We were so impressed with his work and by how professional he was. We will definitely get him back for other work we need done and I am giving his name to my friends.
I wanted to thank this customer for the wonderful review, and I have work for him a second time and he is very hospitable customer. I hope for continuous service.
Thanks again Anthony.
I was looking for an electrician to do the electrical work needed to make my basement a legal second suite. I found Wirework Solutions here and met with Anthony to go over the details. Anthony was very knowledgeable and accommodating in helping me get the work done.
I would definitely recommend Wirework Solutions to anyone and also call on them should i need electrical work done in the future.
We hired Wireworks to do work on our basement in the late winter. It is now almost summer. The work is not finished.
Even if the excuses were valid (another issue altogether - see below), Wireworks has repeatedly and consistently missed deadlines and promised performance dates that THEY provided. We have been waiting for more than a month now for a finish-up, and the basement looks a mess.Whenever we have complained it is always the fault of other workers, but the other workers are (and have been) waiting on word from Anthony on where and how to help clean up. Anthony has not been forthcoming.
At first we were promised that his workers would come in and repair. They arrived and left, work left undone, and repeated calls were unanswered, and then promises of completion, and postponements, and unanswered calls, then more promises. The latest we have been waiting on is for Anthony to specify where we need to pull down drywall so he can finish the job. We have been waiting a week - no answer from Anthony.
The claim is that the drywall guys pinched his wiring. They deny it, but that isn't material. The electrical code is clear that the electrician is responsible for safeguarding the wiring. Even so, we were willing to start over and even had the drywall guys on standby - just waiting for Anthony to come by... and he hasn't. He misses messages, promises to call, and doesn't. Repeatedly.
His hired guys have left messes - again - repeatedly.
He had charges in his initial quote that he never finished. He claimed to send emails that we never received. He did not answer messages or phone calls for days at a time.
We have all this documented. This is stressing us out.
We hired him based on his reviews here. He made a great first impression but judging by how our basement is going and by the scope of things he was reviewed on here, maybe big jobs are beyond him.
We will be calling in Electrical Safety Inspectors and another electrician to finish the job.
We have wasted time, money and we will just have to start from square one again.
Attn Mike
Let us start with the delays of the project. Firstly you have not mention 2 months that your wife was away for 2 months plus, where we had stop the job and wait for the approval of the kitchen for which you hadn't have the plans. secondly we had sent you photos of the pinch and wires being wrapped around supporting structures laid out by your dry wallers. And we stated that we in order for us to complete the job you must take down the drywall for which you wanted us to do. I stated to you that we do not take dry wall down, which is not part of our scope. You stated the dry wallers were waiting on us but I have no evidence of the text or a email. Also we stated to you that you needed a building permit for the job , for which you stated that you contacted the Building department of Town of Oakville. Well Mike I check with the town of Oakville you haven't pull a building permit. I have evidence of that as well. It is your responsibility of a home owner to provide access for all electrical work , not ours it is your responsibility. Also you never hired us base on reviews you hired base on financial, and if we were taking so long as you claim why wont you have went with another contractor.
Anthony recently installed an exhaust fan in my bathroom that did not have one to begin with.
This job involved not only cutting the hole in a plaster ceiling but also climbing around in an attic full of blown insulation to run the wiring and duct work. Not a very pleasant experience for him I would imagine. It did leave me with some patch work to do, but that was totally expected & not as much as I had thought. He did an excellent job.
On top of being a very nice person to deal with, his prices are reasonable and he's professional, prompt & courteous.
I will be getting him back to complete some other projects I have.
It was a small job and I had so much trouble trying to find someone to show up or quote a reasonable price. Anthony from Wirework solutions came with no questions...he was very professional and honest and he did the job in no time. His price was reasonable and after months of looking for an electrician we found someone we would definitely recommend to a friend.
Thank you!
Anthony and his apprentice were great! Very personable, professional, efficient and fairly priced. They replaced a light fixture in a timely manner and were very pleasant to have around. I will definitely boom them again and highly recommend others do too!
