ANYONE KNOW HOW TO INSTALL A BASEMENT WINDOW?

hi there i am a general contractor but i don't install windows ... i am doing my basement and want to add a new basement window ,,, now there is no window where i want to put 1 one so i am looking for help in installing a window in the basement ?? i know bricks have to be cut but what do i use ?> any tips to finish this job myself? what materials or tools do i need? email me lptambur@sympatico.ca for ideas?

The very topic I'm looking into. Have a 10" block + brick wall and want to add a window in a bay parallel to the 1st floor joists and one in a wall perpendicular to the floor joists. It's probably a bigger job than I want to do myself so may post a project...
