Drywall Project

Hi I was hoping someone could help me with an idea of a price range on some interior work I have too do on my house in Priddis. The house shouldn't be ready for the work for about 3 months but I wanted to figure out prices a little earlier. I was going to have a friend who drywalls to do it but he back out on the project because of its size and said I should talk to some of the bigger drywall company's in the city. So you don't have to be dead on I just want a rough idea of what I might be looking at. The house is one main floor and a garage.

The house is going to be soft line.

Loose fill for entire sq footage of the home 5012

Insulation r 20 15 540 batt's

I need to put in the cavity of the trusses half a bat of r 40 in 54 openings sealed with a vapour barrier along the exterior wall.

The house is a main floor bungalow with 10 foot ceiling and in the great room 34 feet by 42 feet a 12 foot ceiling with 8 coffers.

I figure the rolls for the ceiling should be about 13 8 foots and for the walls 8 10 foot rolls

There are 26 windows to foam and 5 doors.

As for drywall the rough count is 18 007 board feet all half inch.

Also if you could give me a difference from popcorn to knockdown texture. I was looking to get it all the way to paint.

The above footage includes the garage but it a 12 foot high square box pretty much 27 feet by 38 feet.

The bead is soft line and I would say you would need 50 sticks at 10 feet too 12 don't know what they come in.

Thank you very much and if you could email me back on how to go to the next step with this pending the quote I would appreciate it. If you have any further questions please contact me on my email at

for all the work to done by a good contractor you might be looking a lot of money. If you are supplying materials then it would be just labor and with the amount of work I think you should get somebody good. check around for different contractors and if you can not find anybody then let me know
