I was wonder how much it would cost for someone to install a skylight in our home.

There are many elements that can impact the cost of installing a skylight such as the type of skylight and accessories, roof pitch, shaft run, access etc. However, assuming no roof joist restructuring and depending upon access, pitch and shaft run, the installation could range from $1500.00 to $3000.00. As every installation is different, for projects such as these is best to arrange for a site visit to fully assess the project and provide you with a detailed scope of work and realistic estimate.
