Where do you apply for a Contractor license? I Have Studied in Architectural Sciences and done several home renovations. Please some one guide me to find where to get a General Contractor License. I would also like to work as an apprentice to someone if they are open to it.
You need to at least start with someone who will train and teach you some actual working habits and skills. So much is great in theory, but when you try to apply that learned book knowledge, it's useless. No book can teach common sense, and just because code says it's ok, doesn't mean that it shouldn't be improved on. A lot of people take the building code as their bible, but I'd like to point out it's just the minimum requirements needed.
Give me a call if your still looking, I could always use another set of hands, as well as I'm looking for another projects person.
